Was playing on the experimental branch tonight with a friend, and among getting shot at, we both heard a loud booming noise in the distance. First time we have either heard it and we both have 200ish hours in the standalone....Heard the noise several time over a period of at least 20mins

Game seems to work fine after I click "OK" but I get this error everytime I start the game. And the file isnt even there that it seems to be looking for. Also, Verifiying game files didnt do anything in steam.

Yesterday I made my server public, and today I noticed, from looking at the map, people have spawned vehicles on Fallujah, when there were none before. BattleEye is on, and rmod doesnt work for this map. So, hackers? or what? Im just curious how this is being done. Im not on, and its only 4 people so far....

Been enjoying my saltlake city server a ton. May not move it. So currently rmod only works on chernous...correct?

Is fallujah, supported by rMod yet? Looks like it was, and lingor island was as well.

Question about rMod. Is there a list of "Custom" vechicles that work? Ive placed afew diff ones that it accepts, but they never show. Some do, most dont. This is on Lingor. Hey guys, A local PC shop is starting to host LAN parties bi monthly. And I had a thought, right now, the majority that come are me and a bunch of friends. We all play dayZ and I do occasionally host a private server from home. It seems to do well with less than 14 people, after that it gets laggy do to my internet connection. My thought was, to setup a private server for the LAN specifically. What hardware would you guys recommend? At home I use a quadcore AMD with SSD and 8gb ram. Our biggest issue was loot taking time to load in the bigger cities. This also give admins a chance to show off what hardware they host their servers on. Private or not.

Just now... A bandit killed my friend while crossing a field, I killed the bandit and he had a bigger backpack, how do I take the bandits bigger backpack? I know how to pickup a pack laying by itself, but its not giving me the option to take the bandits pack.

If you dont have a credit card, but have an old Wii system laying around (like I did). Go trade it in for store credit if you can at gamestop or Eb games. They have started carrying these steam wallet cards, $20 and $50, which you can inturn use to buy Arma II Combined operations on steam. Worked out wonderfully for me.
