OK, so i had been given opportunity to play WarZ and i saw some differeances that dayz should have had long time ago! (i made Warz review in my YT channel if you want then go and check it out) So what should have been: 1.AI : this should have been the first that got fixed, but whats wrong w/ it? -> : 1.1. zombies still walk indors or on certain surfeces. 1.2. zombies still cant walk on certan surfeces. 1.3. zombies still have problems w/ hearing you shooting guns(from pistols to snipers). sometimes some zombies wont get attracted when you shoot(for example : lee) near them. 1.4. big cities(like cherno) dont have as many zombies as smaller ones(like kamenka,balota and so on...) (dont give me this bullshit about dangers of cherno cuz there are more players..imagine real world : where will be more zombies in your countries capital or some city just outside that capital?!) 1.5. it would be more fun if there were different types of zombies(example: some who hear much better and others who see better!) 1.6. walking on concrete or asphalt or any other solid surface should not attract zombies more than when you are in grass or smth(running may make more sound but walking shouldnt!) 2. loot should be sorted better: 2.1. in warz i saw that it was much harder to find weapon and ammo so dayz should definitely reduce % of chance spawning any ammo and weapons on civilian houses 2.2. there should be more melee weapons OR bigger chance to get one(and you should be able to hit zombies w/ flashlight!) 2.3. you should be able to refuel your car or chopper from gas station not any big barrels (or whatever they were called) 2.4. ammo clips should be able to be split or joined together w/ other ammo clips(like make full clip of makarov from 2 half empty clips) and ammo should be able to be spawned in less than full clips(like 2 bullets of whole revolver clip) i realise that devs ar e already implementing this but cmon... this is one good feature to have right now.. Well this is kinda short list of mine that i like to see made in next version of dayz BUT i rly want to see big changes in AI cuz right now dayz is more like game where you gather loot and try n kill ppl + some zombies not zombie apocalypse survival!! also here is quit old topic where i put my ideas for dayz http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/83482-suggested-updates/#entry787534

well i hope you dont think im some sort of gteat dev or anything.. im just a guy 19 years old still in school and i have almost no experiance in workin w/ team or w/ real games developing.. and still i think i got pretty good skill set to be called a programmer

i dont want dayz to become warz.. or anything like that i said that i got some expiriance form it when you couldnt find good loot like dayz and compare how different dayz could be if some of my ideas was implemented still i would love to see atleast 2 things...more zombies and better AI

yes thx for ideas but dont u think i havent considered this.. the thing is.. i AM programmer, thou i dont have time to nor make a game nor make scrips since im learning to become game dev myself and maybe one day il make a good game.. but now im just learning also i rly dont like warz i rly doen like it

So im playing dayz these last days of summer and im noticing that there is more and more cheaters every day! WTF is happening?! I mean only few weeks ago(june to be more precise) there was only like 5 %-15% cheaters of whole community, but now the numbers almost reach 50% There are a lot of ppl(like little kids) who dont enjoy that scavenging part of game and just wants this game to be open world COD Charter numbers grow fast and why? Some ppl are fighting "fire w/ fire" , maybe some succeed but still they are no less of the problem.. after they have killed and banished every cheater off the server, they sill poses that tempting ability to kill everyone and spawn anything and sooner or later they will do something that everyone hates! And there are those types who just spawns their loot, because they were too big of a pussies to admit that they died and wont get their loot back. Only ones benefiting from this is those who make scripts and hacks for game.. they sell that and get your money! SO i ask : IF you have any loot that is outside of mods rules(like as50 w/ termal scope or m4 w/ granade launcher and silencer) drop it, loose it, GET RID OF IT! IF this cheater problem will get bigger, this mod WILL DIE! Also DayZ devs should make anticheat updates as well as bohemia interactive, because its their biggest mod! ...if you agree : i wants yourz beaz Yamiks!

great post my friend. even if i get killed like that once a week im still playing because i love the challange and i love the idea of the game! i play because i have a hope of ...BEATING THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF CHEATERS.....ops not that.. a hope of this game to improve!

Hunter update : *make hunter outfit zombie *hunter zombie can drop cz mags,hunting knife,raw meet and other stuff that is accociated w/ hunting(aside from standart zombie loot), Also hunter zombie has better eye sight and hearing but has lower healtH *hunter zombies drops hunting outfit(much like soldier or camo, but w/ cool hat =}, extremely rare) *at deer stands you can find only hunting stuff not military(this can be excluded) *at deer stands military zombies are switched to hunter zombies *hunting knife ARE now a weapons at side arm slot *now in woods or fields can be found berry bushes or apple trees which hold food(100-200 blood each to help noobs survive) Car update : *ATV now has option to be flipped(no more perfect ATVs undrivable cuz u flipped it and jumpd out of it) *ability to shoot form passenger seat(this can be excluded) *now you need to refill your jerry cans in gas stations not any other place that got those big fuel tanks or what ever you want to call them... 1. in website at dayz download put one simple line of text somewhere to see what version is the current dayz mod 2. it would also be awesome to be able to put ammo mags together if they have free spaces like(puting together 2 mags that are half full and make 1 full there for taking up less space) 3. i would also like to be able to make traps for zombies and players(i know there is bear trap but..cmon)(traps like frag grenade trip-wire trap, mines for cars and humans or zombies,claymores and more) 4. it would be awesome if you could find weapon attachments by them selves and combine w/ weapons(like finding acog sights,silencer or attach your flashlight to weapon) 5. once you have consumed canned food or drank soda it should leave empty can in your inventory. 6. you should be able to find bikes more(cuz you in real life almost all households have at least 1 bike) 7. include more weapons from arma 2 arsenal in dayz(like few snipers, assault rifles, and so on!) (my favorite is silenced ak rifles, g36 variants(love em), also you could include scorpion, this would give more freedom) (also scar rifles are my favorites..mk16 and mk17) 8. make zombies start running slower(like from walking to running make them accelerate not instantly go into hyper running) 9. make zombie packs (3-20 zombies) that goes at random directions(like from town to town) (this will make the whole environment feel a bit more real..also they could carry some good loot.. but not too much, maybe one rifle or smth) 10. even thou there is heli crash sites, there could be also treasure chests hidden in hard-to-reach places all over map, and inside could be one good item..or more (now posting known buggs that i rly hate!) (1).you cant put primary weapons in patrol pack w/o it disappearing in thin air (2).you break bones when opening/colsing gates/doors(i mean how stupid you should be in real life to do this =} ) (3).recombination of all types of ammo will give back full clips/mags (4).make hunting knife a weapon you can use (5).tents saves only once and dont save anything laiter(or if you take something out it will reappear after some time) Yamiks.

im talking about arma 2 and OA armory .. there are only like 1/2 of all guns at dayz from all armas arsenal

1. yeah it is , but it would be nicer to have info put there(dont you agree?) 2. so?! im reporting this just in case 3. since this is not another small map deathmach game you must survive longer and this will help empty some space! 4. its not that 5. yeah thats gr8 but it would be also interesting to see maybe more than 1 big map.. 6.yeah thats g8, lets hope for much bigger arsenal and attachment variety. 7. thats you, but i would love to set up trip wire traps at airports for players and zombies alike 8. arma 2 doesnt allow it but then again it would be awesome 9. to get stuff to trow, attract zombies and so on(get it?) 10. you mean spawn points not their spawning rate! 11..... a. ..... b. ... ?

So here are some of my ideas for dayz: 1. make female zombies (if you can be a woman in game that there should be woman zombies.. after all equality) 2. put much more zombies in big cities because now small cities are more dangerous than bigger ones 3. put spawn locations on east coast too, maybe put some spawns in whole map(that way you will be forced to know the whole map and also that s sometimes refreshing seeing new places) 4. make new equipment items -> my idea : kevlar, or some other armor that protects you from bullets or possibly zombies 5. make treasure chests that spawns at random places(or places very hard to reach)(chests that contains one or more VERY rare items) 6. make roaming zombie hordes(5-20 or more zombies in pack that movies from town to town) thats it ..for now Yours truly Yamiks!

why no on east coast spawns?

so i've played your mod for a while now.. and i know that its only alpha but here is some of my ideas , suggestions and bug report: bugs: ...... 1. if you are in house and zombie is near and even if you are in prone and if you move and zombie is right next to point where you are it will see you and will start running towards to you. ...... 2. if you are prone in any place and you stand up while zombie is next to you it won't see you. ...... 3. there are some "safe zones" as i like to call them where zombies just cant stand on! : ......... *docks(any) ......... *some warehouses ......... *train station platforms ...... 4.make it so zombies does see you if not only hear you! ...... 5.in night if you trow flare zombies will go for it BUT could you make please some distraction item like rock(also it would be nice if you could use flares,empty cans,wood that already is in game) to trow at daytime and it would create noise and zombies could go and look for it, meanwhile you could scavenge. ...... 6.zombies sometimes spawn in houses/train stations/warehouses and doesn't move at all(only if you use flares in nights or you rune near them. ...... 7. when you try to put double barreled shotgun or lee enfield in your backpack they just disappear thanks for good mod and keep up the good work yours truly Yamiks (this is repost .. but what ever..)
