I'm fine with sniper rifles, if that's the way people want to play, then let them. I do agree with some posts, however, that the anti-material rifles in this game are unnecessary.

I had the same thing happen to me on my last death. I knew a guy was nearby (at NWAF, in SW barracks) so I was going to try to have the element of surprise on him. I didn't loot anything, I just opened the 3rd door down, got in, and closed it behind me. I had a plan to shoot him when he opened the door. All was going to plan... I heard him walking around, creeping, and being cautious. I had my M4A1 silenced ready for him. He opens the door, I shoot 15 rounds into him before he even knows what's going on. He finally snaps out of it and kills me in one bullet. Haven't played since. Not out of hatred for the game (I quite enjoy the game), it just demotivated me a bit.

OP, if you want to get the most bang for your buck, just put it together yourself, it's about as easy as plugging it in. I know it's not prebuilt, but you said you're on an extreme budget. (I'm assuming around $500) Here:

You have to reload it before you can use it. Press the "R" key. -
Usually when I see players I will say over direct chat and the mic: "I see you, if you are friendly, respond or I will engage". I've had one person respond, the rest respawned.
