For about 2 weeks now I have not been able to get into a server, I get past waiting for character to create but then just get stuck on the black loading screen without the progress bar, I have the latest beta which I manually installed and I have also manually installed battleeye, I never join servers with higher ping that 60, The servers I join are never really busy 10-20 players is there anything I can do without reinstalling arma 2 C.O?

I have spent about a week off the game, so when I was about to play it again I downloaded and installed the beta patch 905208, but when I click multiplayer I am only capable of joining 10 servers at most because all the other servers are using 1.62, so I downloaded the dayz files from the site, installed that and im still not running 1.62, how am I meant to get 1.62? also it is now crashing when the server has loaded just before it does crash and windows suggests I close arma 2 it comes up with the weapons.config error which I was always able to play thorugh but no more, any suggestions?

Cheers, whats the group chat for? the green one if memory serves

All the videos I watched on YouTube have chat down the side, I know they disabled that, but is there anyway to communicate with players who are near you, to tell them you're not a threat? Ive tried group chat and the white one, does that work or am I simply just being ignored haha
