By the time he makes his Uber game my kids will be playing it....And I don't even have a GF yet.. As stated by another commenter take a look at Arma 2 and Arma 3's launches and expect nothing different. Content will be cut and slowly added in over the course of the next year or more. It's the new Dev style of making games. Dean would have been the only voice that could say No, to a early release. Granted they could have told him to stuff it. But again he was the only one with such influence. Now that hes leaving before and or right after Beta what else would you expect. Oh that's right a half baked dream. Oh wait he said he would work from home and help out....lulz Don't blame him though. It's no where the game he wanted it to be and on top of all that hes been away for 3 years. Poor MoFo has been on active duty too long and needs to come home. Fair enough IMO.

Lulz close but this would probably be closer to actuality.. Plays DayZ... Goes to store finds food, gets back "home" and cooks it. Eats some cooked food. Never got off DayZ. Has to go to store to get some groceries, IRL. Instead stayed home and didn't cook dinner. Plays more DayZ.

I changed my post before I went the route of claiming something I don't know...Frustration. But yes its a Book Exchange so a PVE server..I'd assume? It's one of 3 that always show up on my list as 40/40 so I frequent there allot. But after the hackers I haven't been back and haven't had a problem since. The COD part was that they came up and KOS'd two of my friends who just logged in. I'm assuming they thought we were Bolota bandits? One came up to me in a tree told me to come out by name than said they were going to execute me. When for some reason he turned to his buddy standing next to him and I lucked out and caught them off guard. I watched one run down to the bunkers shoot my buddy looting inside then warp sprint back to me in under 30sec and I was about 600m away from the bunkers over watching on the hill for my boys. People with bad connections don't warp across the map so that was a dead give away.. I was the only one to walk away.. Soo long story short...Thought that since they thought I was a Bandit/hopper they went straight out and KOS'd us before we did someone else?..After some thought I'd chalk it up as some random group of dudes.. We don't KOS fyi...

Bolota Book Exchange. Called me out by name and the night before did the same thing to one of my friends. He was mad that we weren't playing the server as a PVE server. They run speed scripts and run in a pack. Causes the whole serve to lag when hey do it. When I said I'd get the Admin to check logs he damn near died of laughter. He was so busy wallowing in his own self righteousness that I was able to merc him and his butt buddy. Then watched them speed script back to there body's in about 5mins.. Running scripts but they couldn't afford the good ones. Ended up getting killed by a regular Joe. I'd just eat a gun at that point. The lack of skill and mentality is absurd. Worse part the dude sounded like he was 40...

On a 40/40 man server a guy ran up to me while I was AFK hiding in a tree and called me out by name. "RyBo come out"..The night before it happened to my buddy. Again called out by name. Also both times the guys were warping all over the place due to some ghetto speed script. Long story short the guy admitted to it and then I caught him off guard and shot him. Poor punk couldn't afford the good scripts. No god mode for that corpse.. High light of my night. Also the guys got back to there body's in about 5mins and we were up behind Bolota. Rofl it causes the whole server to lag when they are doing it. The lack of skill is clearly there problem. Told there unconscious body's to go play COD before I coup de graced them with there own tricked out M4. Classic script-er set up too. All ruined clothing with only mags and ammo..

Lulz, was on a 40 man server and some dude ran up to my buddy and called him out by "in-game" name...Then he proceeded to warp around the area at damn near the speed of light. I called him a script kiddy and he warped back 50m and shot me, the lulz...

works...same for going to a different hardcore too 6.Log back into a hardcore or regular server

I pitched it in the grass under the skinny tiny bushes figuring a player would find it. Since it was pretty much in the open. I died about 10mins later in Zerno looking for that ill fated bandage. Never went back cause I'm lazy like that. As stated I normaly carry a note with my name per-written and slight back story on how the gear got where it was..But I was dieing so that went out the window..

I called it basically cheating cause glitching is the real matter. Having 3PP on allows all these problems to exist in the first place. Should be removed till fixed IMO. I made a long post on why 3PP on is basically cheating and it allows others to truly cheat/exploit. Why worry about being seen over a wall when in fact you were seen through the wall. Then don't forget about how you can poke your rifle through walls and with the lean angle in 3rd person you can kill people without ever stepping out of cover. Doesn't matter how long you wait or how tacticool you are. You can wait 1hour staring at the A-Tac Tower in Bolota to make sure it's safe. Then you run up there to end up being shot by the guy inside wall glitching.. As for people saying it can be done in 3PP:Off servers. Well yeah it can be done but with a hell of allot more effort and only certain types of buildings vs damn near everything in 3PP:On servers. Also the lean through wall and shoot glitch is again pretty much useless. Try it for yourself...

Yep, I use a Jump Jet 4G LTE..I pay $90 for 10GB. On average lasts 2 weeks. I have satellite for everything else. From watching porn to listening to music.. As others have stated It all depends on player count. It is true that it spikes when someone is near but I also experience overall more data usage in the high pop servers. Sometimes up to 6x the data usage. My average is around 100-150KB an hour on a no population server. On a high pop I expect on average about 150-250mb an hour. If I hang out in Elektro or Berinzo with all the other players it has gotten close to 1gb per hour. But if I keep on moderate servers aka 12-22 man servers I get around 2 weeks of usage with about 90-120 hours of game time. Keep in mind most Hot Spot type devices "Ghost". They upload and download background information. For example my first time it only lasted about 5GB out of the 10GB for background updates and what ever the hell else. As stated above DL a data tracker NOW! Not later! (KEEP IN MIND) -All data counts to your usage! Including Up-Loading!!- People miss this part all the time.... You will use your data for 3rd party VOIP You will use your data for uploading screen shots for lulz You will use your data anytime a friend links the imagur link You will use your data anytime a friend links a 30sec youtube video etc,etc,etc All of this adds up real quick and faster than you think. I don't click on any link my friends send me or anything till I'm off my 4G..Save that crap for the even crappier e-net.. If you can't split your usage like I do expect to see the 250mb-1GB every one to two hours of game play. But if you can keep on eye on it and watch yourself you should average around 60kb..Which is like 3 weeks to a month of usage. I average about 2 weeks due to running with a group of 4-6 and being on a VOIP program with 4-10 dudes in the same channel. (PRO Tip) Not really lulz.. Set your Device to only use 3G!!! Saves you allot of data and runs DayZ just fine with me and my homies. I can't run 3rd party VOIP though. But you may depending on how many bars you get. I get 1 lulz..Same for my 4G. Just one fucking bar.. but it works.. In the end you can toss out the idea of paying once a month for data if you wanna play like everyone else.

Hackers/dupping/bad patches etc started the large influx of regular open servers to go private. Once private using Mods was just a given... I ran a server almost from day one and I know why I went private and it was due to hackers. Nothing like logging in to find all the vehicles on the map blown up on the beach daily.. Once we went private again Mods just crept in.. You do make a point. If the game takes a steep dive in the developmental stages and they just push it out. Cough, Cough Arma 3. Then the community will work around it. With support or not. If they can keep the hackers/dupping/bad patches/ lack of content to a bare minimum so even the regular Joe doesn't have to worry about them then I don't ever see private hives or mods getting even one tenth of the player population.

Since DayZ started Ive been bitching about needing horses. I want horses that can be ridden and be used as storage on the saddle. Then also add donkeys as a pure pack animal. Then last but not least I need my hound. I'd like them to add a Siberian Husky. I don't see how any of this would be out of place. If anything it would be weird not to have it. Unless all dogs and domesticated animals have died or gone nuts and or our characters can't think outside the box and would rather pack everything around like a mule that happens to be a track runner..

Well since you can only use the LRS, PU, or irons for me it's easy. The LRS everytime if I can find it. Only because there are no Binoculars.. If I can't find the LRS which I havent in two patches thanks to hoppers I prefer the Irons. The PU's zoom and FOV make for a terrible combo. They need to give you more FOV and a clear image around the PU scope untill you hold your breath which it should then go to the view we see now. Which is a pretty good one eye closed view behind the scope... I only play 3PP:Off. If you don't you may not get my point due to it being easyier and safer to stay in 3PP. Not hacking anyones play style FYI! Cause if you roll 3PP all the time this may seem like a neat feature instead of what I think as a 3PP:Off player is a must have. That white Dot shit should be removed from Hardcore and having this fix would make up for that....

Lulz...I get the OP's point. I happen to live in the Sticks and my e-net drops all the time. Normaly back to back drop outs before it will be good for an hour or two or all night. The first time isn't a problem it literaly starts where your logout timer left off which is awesome! Granted as long as you join the same server. It does suck terrible balls when you have to wait after your 2nd go around. That 5min timer kicks in and all I want to do is check my ping and see if I need to reset my shit one more time. To then come back with 500ping and again have to wait 5mins to find out. Ive had to wait 5 five mintue timers before....Which blows my mind that people are dealing with this and still hopping like the Dev's did nothing about it. But these problems only effect probley like 5% of players.
