Cheap fix for a bigger problem.

Me and my buddy's have been trying to find a night server since patch with no luck. Even the 24/night servers are day time atm. Next patch...

Clean kill. He should have started the "Jepus Shrist, I'm friendly yo!" followed by hands in the air voluntarily. Granted all I require is them to respond and if they don't then to get away from me. Or me running away..

I duel carry. A Mosin in hands and M4 on back. Why you ask? For the very reason you attacked that guy. You think I'm limited but I'm not. BTW even with a talon backpack it's almost impossible to see the M4 cause it glitches through the pack. All you can see is the barrel, bottom of the stock and only 1/3 the rifle itself. Many times Ive had my friends say "I didn't know you had a M4 this whole time!". It's really not glitchy. Unless you have a bad connection. A bad connection will cause you to drop it at your feet when you log in. Reason being you pushed a 1-0 and put something into your hands and it dropped at your feet but due to connection that 1-0 you pushed never recognized so you just think it vanished. I know I play on Fiber half the time and the other half on 4GLTE. I've also been doing this for a couple months. It will never magically vanish I promise. Unless "Alpha" says otherwise and eats it which has never happened to me but my buddy's "claim" it has to them. You can even move items around in your inventory or run around after log in with it still in inventory. You just have to know how it works. You log out with one in your hands and one on your back. Then when you log in you just drag the rifle that was in your hands back to your hands from the right side inventory list. It will be the last item under your pack. Once you do this you must have the "This is my rifle" mentality. Anytime you put something else in your hands you drop your rifle. And justly so. But of course you must remember to pick it up. When I'm with a group I duel carry. When I'm solo I don't cause you have to pull your axe out too often and can't two handed sprint. Single carry saves time and makes you faster than zeds. When you duel your at a disadvantage due to your speed reductions while running with a 2-handed item in your hands. I really like the fact you have to drop "set down" your rifle when you have to fumble with something in your hands. Overall it's give and take. Also if you try this for the first time keep your primary on your back cause your gonna lose the weapon in your hands at least twice. Otherwise you'll find yourself rolling around in the grass trying to flatten it so you can find said, weapon, lolz...Oh, and expect a random server restart to eat a weapon while your cramming your face with beans.

Walkie talkies...Outside VOIP makes no difference when it's been working in game for months.. Ive used them plenty. Anytime we find a friendly survivor who want's to team up we just hand them a walkie and we turn ours on. If they feel so inclined or are invited to they join our external VOIP program. Thing is though with walkies you can hear when someone talking to someone else just like in RL. But we normally cut coms. Even in our VOIP cause you want to hear whats going on in game. I don't know if you have ever watched a Dayz video on youtube 99% of groups are screaming at each other and laughing none stop so you have a large advantage. My group wouldn't be the type to KOS you or track and kill but we are they type your talking about aka a bunch of Arma players running in a around tactical formation while calling out targets in degrees.. Truly what it comes down to is knowing your surroundings and staying out of high traffic area's. The groups your talking about frequent airfields,military bases,coast,coastal towns. Stay out of those and you wont have a problem. Ive had a character last 20 days in game before dieing. All solo minus the random "Hero's" who wanted to team up for bit here and there. By that point dieing is refreshing..

If I have to run from Elektro to NW checking every house on the way to not find any food/soda other than fountains then to die of starvation in Vybor isn't fun it's a waste of my time... Fix the loot spawns and I'll stop hopping, Cheers.. Other things will help too such as hunting etc. Loot re spawning peace meal every few hours is whats really needed. I only play on full servers. Dieing of starvation is not uncommon. Can't imagine when we have 100 man servers. At least not till a basic loot fix etc comes out..

Easy... Best: M4 Worst: M4 Why?: It's about as accurate as a paintball gun and as powerful as a .22LR but everything else about it is a M4...

The last thing I would want is the UN showing up after a Zed out break. They are gonna come and take all your guns and weapons. They come with big trucks and expect you to live in a refugee camp where water is more rare than that beloved can of bean in Dayz. Then from there to be left without guards after 6months to then be over ran by Zeds and everyone dies and flees a second time.

Yes, everyone in my group does. We normally stash them all in one place and leave a note at one of the weapon spawns telling where a (EPD Cache) is. We once had 7 rifles, 3 hand guns, ammo, clothes, food, backpack, etc... If anyone has ever found one I'm sure they lost there mind. I figure one day I'll see a Reddit post about it lolz..

I live in a rain forest on an inlet to a large bay which connects to the ocean. It doesn't even come close in rain fall compared to Cherno. Hell Hawaii doesn't even rain as much and it's a tropical environment.... I want more rainbows for sure. Ive seen them before but they seem to be uncommon. I would also like different water drop weight. It's basically down pouring. Lite mist too down pour would be much better. Also rolling fog from the coast line moving inland would be nice with the amount of cloud cover at times. At the moment we have like a heart beat fog bank that rolls in then vanishes back and forth. They could just make it take twice as long and that would be much better. They should also add in waves for the coast line. The tide system seems to work great though.. Last but not least the sun glare is probably 2x brighter than human eye with this amount of cloud cover. That needs some love and I don't mean just make glasses work. Last time I looked at the sun it was still round...

Agreed! I <3 the respawn rate. I honestly would like more! But at the moment with the basic problems of Zeds walking threw walls and floors etc it needs a little more love on the quicker side for me to really enjoy it. It's more a frustration atm lol. The axe is your friend again!

HK doesn't support Civilian sales of there military weapons. So unless you don't mind supporting a company that actively supports gun grabbers in the US then go ahead. The FNX is more or less the same thing when it comes down to game mechanics...

A musket was a Military firearm..Now its a relic. The difference between Mil and Civ is time and politics....

I'll admit I straight up KOS'd someone for the first time for this very reason..I spent 30mins running trying to find some beans while dealing with hordes of 10m spawning Zeds that can walk through walls and floors. After just about ragging on the this utter cluster fudge I decided if I find someone I'd kill them for the beans and save myself 99% of the trouble. Well 1 minute later there he was. Now hes gone and I've got my Beans. Thanks BIS. One more step towards a FPS shooter.../facepalm

Nothing is harder about the zeds...None stop spawning zeds in a barren field is hard on immersion though...

There's a reason no one is giving you Beans.. Check your modem, router. Then after you know that's fine just play on the EU servers like I am ATM. They seem to be working just fine and dandy. As for filtering for EU servers G/L...Mine for some reason is only pulling them up atm.

YOUR BATTERY IS DEAD.... It can be pristine and still be dead. Always carry two...You get a free one when you spawn. Save it. Same goes for flash lights. If you leave either on for 1-2hrs (last patch) it would die. At the time you could then swap batteries from the flashlight into the walki and vice versa. Doing so would turn your dead battery back to New but only for the new flashlight/walki you put it in. Can't take it from your flashlight and put it in your walki then put it back in your flashlight. Being a new patch you probably need a spare now...
