Now that spawns are broken IMO what would you expect. Nothing random anymore and turning the NEAF into a better loot spawn than the NWAF there is no point to ever leave the coast... Till the day they add tents or such don't expect to see much of anyone past the coast. Why ever leave the coast when the best weapons and the biggest citys are at hand. Yea, sure lets move in land to see nothing but smaller towns and allot less loot and no players. This game is about survival and player interactions. Well the 2nd half of this game is yet to be created unless you chill on the coast. What we have right now in SA is about half of what the mod had when it started. Time will round out all these ruff edges.

Only happens to me when..... I join a server with no one in it. Join a server just after restart. Server hop. It hasn't happend since I started playing on 20+ man servers. I also only play on about 10 servers...

You said it yourself. A mic makes a world of difference in determining if a player is a clown or not. Even better when they cross com.... Also you can find desk mic's for under $5. Being in college you can also get a free one from the tech lab if you ask for one in the storage closet. Or one of the other crap tons of ways to obtain a mic. I hate when people say "I can't afford a mic" when they could afford a PC and the game... Nothing wrong with obtaining peace meal either. Such as first buying the PC. While later buying the game then a bit longer for the mic. I was young once too.

In RL the last thing I would ever do is hand someone I do not know a firearm.... Now adding that this is a game giving someone I do not know a firearm is probley the dumbest thing you could do. When I find a noob running around and I want to help him I cuff him then strip him clean of all weapons and rotten fruit etc. Then I help gear them up with everything but weapons. Once they have enough to survive I send them off to the closest location for a weapon. If they pick one up while I'm with them such as a axe. It's an insta head shot for I have warned that player multiple times by that point NOT to arm themselfs... And if you really want to help someone without being killed carry an extra stacked med kit and yellow case with food and water. Hand it to them and tell them good luck. If they sound like your type of player ask for there steam name or give yours. Meet at a later date or risk being ambushed... Here one last tip. I joined a random 20-40 server and stumbled upon a group of 6 guys. They had me on lock so I raised my hands and prayed. Well guess what...Turns out they are all super friendly want to gear me out and hang out. When I left and joined later by pushing the "play" button it loaded me back onto the server. Which at that point starts it server side messege and it said "Welcome to a PVE server".... ^I personaly think PVE servers are a joke but some people need them and you sound like the type.

Anyone remember the Church Events in the mod? Good idea. Some tips though. Must be indoors. Best to have it in multi story buildings. Put a couple men on the roof. A few at the front door and the main force in the stairway leading up. With two guys over seeing the market trades. Groups of 2-10 criminals are gonna come outa the wood work. G/L

Lol, you can't even own an AK in Russia..Well you can but it's harder than getting a fully automatic here in the States. I know Russians. As for what should be in game? Its a US occupation so M4's at Mil camps. Ak's at bases. The country side gets bolt actions and shot guns with a chance at some semi auto. Also you should have the chance to find military weapons in houses too. Criminals always have best guns.

Me and my boys were on patrol and found a front page of a newspaper on the ground. It had been ripped away from the rest. It's head line was like "Who stole all the banana's?" in big bold letters.... Such a let down. When I found it i thought GTA5 style and figured it would have "People eating People" etc....

Game is not optimized. Some setting which would not normaly effect FPS will.....

Without a .50 Cal how in the hell am I going to shoot down your helicopter at 1000m in the sky. ^Somthing very close to the .50 will be in during launch. That I can promise cause as already stated without a Anti-vehicle weapon then even a 1985 Toyo Pickup is a rolling tank at anything over 500m.

Lol, People use .22 LR to kill deer every day in the USA. From the local Warden to the Animal Control man. Most US states are regulated and not allowed to use .22 Cal bullets. Most seasoned hunters would also consider a .308 to be over kill for a deer sized target. Personaly as one who hunts give a man a rock and he can kill it. The whole debate about what rounds for what animal is for the guys shooting from a keyboard. I own a CETME so I know what you mean when it comes to the idea of a child welding a G3 but a m16 varient on the other hand is a whole different story. Hell when I was a kid we used to put the stock right up to our nutz and bang away. Just like the old Nam videos. Also the youngest I've personaly seen shoot a m16 type was 6 year old and he bagged a steel target at 200m. Also just to point out child soldiers in Africa use G3's on the regular along with Fal's. No wind in game for bullets. They don't curve left or right magicaly due to terminal balistics. Unless your sights are off or your barrel is key holeing or your useing some super crappy ammo any time your weapon fires off target it's your fault due to some type of body movment or my favorite for most new shooters is the bracing for recoil before the recoil even comes. Ie. tighting up.

Alright I'm going to chim in as a hunter. Keep in mind no one shoots back but since there is no system built in for your character to freak out while shots are cracking all those points are mute/void/pointless... If a soilder can't hit a man standing at 300m god help our country considering the average engagement range in Afghanistan is 600m based on DOD reports. Now if the person was not a semi avid shooter or hunter or a soilder a 300m shot would be an issue without any understanding or knowlege. It would be like handing a paint brush to a guy and asking for a million dollar work of art. See the thing is I hunt coyote. The vital are smaller than a human head. We hunt at night with high powered flashlights and shoot between the glowing eyes. In my state you can't shoot on a maintained road so you normaly have to hop out of your truck dead sprint 30 yards, hop a guard rail, run another 10 yards and shoot unsupported at a target normaly 200-400 yards away. Again just shooting 2 glowing eyeballs. We take out first time hunters and kills are a nightly affair. Everyone uses semiauto m4 type varients with 16" barrels with scopes under 4x. You normaly only have less than a minute to take the shot too. They don't stand there all night like a deer they GTFO Dodge cause they are smart enough to know whats attached to the light. It's snap shooting at it's finest. Anyone could do this with a little practice. I have never been to a firearms class or been in the military. As I said we take first timers out and they get kills. I also own a XCR and that thing will do 3" at 300yards. Dont tell me the m4 cant hit at 300m. I take the XCR out to 500 yards on a half sized steel man target and it's a piston rifle known for not being as accurate as direct impingement. Hell I got a 200 yard shot on a yote that was 150 feet above me on a cliff with a red dot on a $400 CETME lololol it's in worse condition than any gun you will find in Dayz...Get out and shoot you rookies. As for being tired while shooting look at a 3 gunner 50-600m is a normal day and 90% are weekend shooters. So much talking out asses here it hurts mine. As for the point of "I just ran all of chero and can turn around and snap shot somone". Well guess what if you could run half of cherno without a hicup you could pull the shot off cause you are one hell of an athlete and with some practice I don't see how that could be a problem. This is a game so again that's almost a pointless agrument. As for them dumbing down the accuracy of said rifle again its a game but it is backwards.. Also looking at military doc as the standard is wrong as well. It's not a true standard of accuracy. In the military they have two types of shooters. Regular shooters and Combat shooters. The standards are set so even the cook who is basicaly mentaly retarded can still get in like my cousin. If your a real shooter for the military they give you the time and training in most cases. The standard is the bare minimum not the average or even a mark for the limits of the shooter or rifle. Unless you have shot an m4 type rifle all of your comments are mute/void/pointless.. For everyone else saying its part quality/zero etc wrong again. That may all play part but that's not the OP's issue. The problem is on the feedback multiple times. Everyone takes the easy route in life. Why in hell would they do any different in a game. 3rd person off = How dayz should be played, nuff said. I don't hate either way though. 3rd person has it's moments for when I'm lazy or want to check my hot bod.... For people wanting to try first person only turn your field of view up 3/4 in the video settings. Gives you a legit peripheral view. Your choice on head bob on/off.
