Answer to your OP question=Yes.. The #1 murder caliber in the USA is a .22 caliber. For the ill informed that's the same round the new Ruger 10/22 will be shooting. Now insert 8 pages of information fully based on games with no legitimate knowledge of the subject matter... As for guns being smaller in your hand's in game vs RL that does make me lulz too..

Someone was carrying two weapons. When you do you have to keep the second in your hands. Anytime you want to eat or switch weapons etc you have to set it on the ground. Now add in game crashes and such finding a fully kitted Mosin or M4 is not uncommon in the most commonly looted areas. ie. Bandit grounds (Air Fields/Elektro-Bolota/Berinzeno/beach). My group has found 2 or 3 so far in Bolota alone. Mostly on the very top of the A-Tac-Tower. A favorite noob sniper spot. I figure they ended up getting caught swapping weapons and tried to log-out under fire from another player.

In the mod I would say the M4 is a must considering the world is littered with HUMMV's and Huey helicopters showing that a NATO force was 110% present in the world before your Bambie spawned magically on the shore. Since we have no evidence other than weapon type to guess if the NATO forces have landed in the SA history it is up for grabs but it's hard to refute the fact that the M4 is present hinting if not out right telling us get ready for more NATO equipment. Just my 2 Cents. Personally think it's more logical too vs the basic argument of "It's Russia, No American guns". One would think that's how it should work logically but since this is just the first trial of the log out system we have to deal with the side effects. I figure in the end that's how it will work but sadly atm if your kicked your gonna be sitting for the 30sec after the kick. As you can tell the whole system was really just thrown in so I figure/pray it will be worked out before release. Which is like 99.9% likely and they may even totally change the system from what we have now. If you stick to servers with over 20-30 people you normally don't have to worry about an Admin kicking you. I like the 40/40 servers personally. Normally run the best in general too hence the large player count. No source other than watching it happen. I roll with a large group and when the Admin starts the kicking you get to watch your group randomly drop into sitting positions and disappear after 30sec's with allot of wtf's over VOIP. I will also note that your character sits/stands up/sits/stands up over and over for that 30sec's too. Like the game doesn't fully recognize your log out. Granted I have seen this happen even when you log out in general but when your kicked it always happens. We used to run with our Group Tag's "EPD_RyBo" but we have since removed the "EPD" due to admins noticing a large group of coordinated players and either start the kicking train or a straight up server restart...

And that's what most do not understand due to lack of knowledge. A .22 will kill you just as fast as a .50 caliber. And I'm glad you brought up the point about shooting a yote and blowing it's leg off with a 556 basically stating how devastating it can be. Cause even though it's the same animal I have shot one with a .308 and watched it run off into the sunset. Why cause mine was a shit shot. If you put a round in anythings vitals even outside the "effective killing range" of said rounds you will still kill it unless it has access to proper medical attention. It would be fantastic if they could find a way to do a vitals hit box. Such as heart/lungs/liver and major arteries. They of course would be small but would provide a very quick bleed out to death or instant death with any caliber.
