The M4 is a gun, yes. And the M4 shoots a 5.56, yes. I figured you'd be able to piece that together without telling me what specific round it shoots. I was just making a generalization And any bullet can be deadly, however the 5.56 is MEANT to maim. I did not say that it maims every time, obviously. What do you think happens when I bullet tumbles inside a body? It maims the victim. Precisely my point. The bullet tumbles in order to maim. And what does the 5.45 have anything to do with this? The only reason there was a cartridge change when developing the AK-74 is because the 5.45 is much more accurate & reliable. It has nothing to do with killing power. I honestly have no idea why you brought that up.

I am not going to deem them a bad server until I see some sort of actual proof from either end. We have no idea if you are telling the truth as no proof has been provided on your end that you weren't doing anything wrong. Try to get in contact with the admins and see what they say when they review your logs.

Haha, don't worry :P Also, "ride in back" is copilot. It'll fill that seat up first, then everyone else who chooses that option will be placed in the back of the chopper.

....... Also, about the switching seat thing if you disconnect, try someone sitting in the copilot seat and you in the pilot seat with the chopper on and on the ground, then 'eject' so the engine remains on and see if he can change seat.

He mentioned that... And as for the low FPS, it's because this is ArmA. ArmA runs off a god awful engine which unfortunately isn't a crisp engine. If you haven't tried the obvious, try putting everything on low & make sure postprocess is 'Disabled' and your 3D resolution is the same as your Resolution. Hope this helps.

M4 is meant to maim, not kill. Unless there's lead in your head, you're not dead (yes, that's meant to rhyme). They won't be changing the damage system for something like a collapsed lung. Edit: Also you can fall 'unconscious' from being shot anyway - there is some sort of incapacitated feature to getting shot :)

Make sure you run ArmA 2 as admin FIRST, then play ArmA 2 OA (as admin also), and try to play then. Failing that, download SixUpdater/DayZ Commander. Goodluck.

There are already many, many clans out there looking for recruits. Have a browse of the forums and just give them your required details. It's a much easier way to find a clan which can relate to the playstyle in which you want. Goodluck.

The program is legitimate. I just decomposed the .exe and skimmed through the code. Nothing there which seems malicious. Although I did not thoroughly look through. With the links provided and the professionalism of the OP & program, as well as it being posted on the actual DayZ forums, I do doubt that this guy is out there to "Steal your account, rape your mum or make you coffee".

Possibly try using SixUpdater, Googling guides for the correct install procedure of DayZ. There's tons of information out there - even many YouTube videos taking you through the process. I personally suggest SixUpdater if you are unsure in how the game operates, starts up and the use of parameters work etc.

You do have the DayZ_Utes 1.1.1 installed, right? You cannot run DayZ off the regular "Utes" map. You will need the DayZ version. I recommend using SixUpdater if you don't already. Hope this helps.

I love the idea of the dead body aging. And to be completely honest, I can see many people actually thinking twice before eating another survivor, as I see so many people take their actions to heart in this game. Anyway, I'd love to see this implemented. Hopefully it does :) Nice suggestion.

It has already been stated that in the SA there will be a much more improved inventory system. There will be no change to the inventory and how it works during the Alpha stages of the mod. And no. A box of matches does not take up the same amount of space that a .50 does. There is a dedicated weapon, backpack and item capacity which all differ from one another and change depending on what type of vehicle it is. And as for the pdw mags not being able to fit in STANAG pouches and vice versa, that answers itself. How would one fit a 30rnd 5.56 mag in a 9mm magazine pouch? It doesn't happen. There are dedicated positions on the body in which are there to store different items. That's just how it works, and it works exactly the same in the military - in which this game is based off the simulation of. Case closed.

I am unsure. I did calculate this by converting the 'Time Played' to days, then dividing that between 1,300,000. I'm assuming there'd be many people out there who buy this game and didn't see much interest in it to play any more than 14 and a half hours.
