While the gameplay is still Vanilla GofW has added a great deal of additional buildings and roads to provide added playability. We had had these addons from an very successful Epoch server that we had hosted a while back. Stop by and check out the server. We like to differentiate our server from others. Some Tidbits: Doubled the size of Balotta. Added towns in the Northern part of the map with roads, one in the northwestern corner of the map and one at Guba bay. Added attitional military check points at various places in the map such as Zelno and Solnichny and much much more. We are still of the process of adding more of these custom imports.

Has anyone seen an uptick in player and player group extortion? Give us gold that we lost or we will leave? Been seeing this the last couple months on our Napf Epoch server. Just had a BTT clan member threaten that the clan will leave the server if we did not give them 20 briefcases of gold. He insisted that a helicopter flying over high overhead sucked up 20 briefcases of gold as it hovered from a lockbox in their base. He also wanted to be compensated yesterday for losing 5 briefcases of gold as his truck was stolen in the trader zone. We have a message when players enter the zone that the trader zone is not safe from theft for the last two weeks. So he literately parked the truck, did not lock it and was surprised when it was stolen. It started off with small stuff they wanted to have replaced. My vehicle disappeared after a restart, but over and over again. Replace this and that. Oh a hacker stole my stuff. Then it was higher value stuff and up and up. Same group PVPs to their hearts content, then cries hacker every time they are killed. What is going on? Are other admins running into this? Is there a better forum than this to post in?

We did check the logs and talked to the players involved it took a couple days. We spoke with the player in TS that you accused of "sucking up your gold" from a lockbox while he was in a heli. He was in a mozzie overhead for a bit observing your base and dropped grenades. He then landed nearby to get a better sniper position but did not get a shot. As we know , the mozzie sound takes a while to wind down, It did not hover for an hour as you claimed, he was above your base for 15 minutes, checking out the chopper he lost. Another player from the regular players that shall remain nameless, sneaked into your base while you were distracted by the mozzie. You claim that the base was locked down, He says the garage door was open and he walked right in. He got in your safe room on the second floor, found two safes and the lockbox in question unlocked, he took what he could carry and walked right out. The logs show nothing weird, no magic scripts, and yea, you did ask for your gold or your clan was going to leave the server. As your clan never came back we could not talk to you. Well Rhico did for about 15 minutes two nights ago. I tried to talk with him in side chat 3 times, but he ignored. me until he got killed, then dropped from the server. We have done nothing with your base you are welcome to it. There wasn't any admin abuse as you claim. No admins have been in your base until I had to go in and find the object numbers for the safes and lockboxes. Like I said before, you want to be bandits, ok, but then you cry when it happens to you. 10 of those 20 briefcases were stolen from another player that a group of your clan ambushed. Heck, just give us the time, you absolutely demanded answers from the admins on the spot right then and there in TS and got downright ugly about it. There was only one admin with that access and knowledge, I can do it, but it takes me a lot of time, and I had to do do some online work for my job that evening. I dropped out right after our discussion. And the other admin was not on at the time. When he saw your rant (and that is being nice) he was hesitant, but he did take a look but did not find anything out of the ordinary as did I. A couple regular players suggested we do a 75% reimbursement, to bring your clan back, that is entirely up to you. I believe that I have already given a few things to your players right? A couple starter kits including safes and lockboxes? We have had a couple hackers on the server, yes, but they were dealt with and none were on at the time of the theft. But your clan calling out a lot of legit players that work together as a team as "hackers" is entirely unnecessary, and immature and from your clan's pictures in steam, your population looks young. As for the trader zone thefts, we could not protect everyone, self-protection is best. , it is impossible to manage so we removed the no stealing at the trader rule, but we do post a message that trader zones are unsafe and items can be stolen when player enter the zone. We can no longer police that when we are up to 30 players at night. Stop by if you like, but that is up to you guys. Cut down on the RAGE factor, please. I just don't want to have other players leave the server I admin because they were unjustly accused of hacking. In this case, whomever it was on your team, left the front door wide open at some point. I don't understand why someone would leave such a nice base and server, heck, your group probably could have made that loss back in a couple nights between the amount of missions and crash sites and a reminder that half of that gold was stolen by your clan in the first place. LOL Most admins would tell you to go pound sand after your TS rant. While I posted about your clan, it was a final straw, as the admins on our server are getting hit with various demands that I want to be reimbursed for this dayz glitch, or I crashed my chopper when it got shot by AI therefore you should reimburse me. What admins are supporting this insanity? Dayz giveth, Dayz taketh away. I guess most of these players don't remember the early Dayz, where you were lucky to find a car with no wheels once a week. If someone else has seen a hack that enables a player to suck up gold from "locked lockboxes" from 600m up, Is there a new Hoover attachment for the Mozzie in the game? I would like to hear about it. In this case though the players were entirely legit, one just provided a distraction factor. He did not even know that the other player was sneaking into that base until it was in progress as both were in TS in different channels and someone jumping channels hooked them up. Sorry, but it was pretty funny when the full story was put together. Again, can a forum admin please move this to the mod general discussion. Thank You.

Find the the tent @ Blasflue. Find the Storage shack in the nearby field for all of the contents of a Bandit stash camp. Lots of guns, and heavy ammo.

Added some cache tents with random good gear and usable guns scattered in towns on the west and north coasts.

Doled out 20 safe and plot pole combos. Gave some cool toys out to a couple noobs as well. Come in and join us. See Major Hazard, Offer ends today. Prize in Schaaken Castle is gone, will and another later on today.

Hazard's cache # 1 On a small Island Northwest of Seewen, one can find a great find!. A lockbox under a tree containing a Safe, 2 briefcases of Gold, starter gear and the keys to a Medevac Vodnik on the near shore. The Lockbox code is Blue 49. Enjoy! More caches to come?

We upgraded this weekend to epoch version 1.0.5.1. You will need to upgrade and use Steam as Dayz commander has not moved from the now-defunct Gamespy to the Steam supported version. Our IP is still 162.223.29.138:2452 if you are already updated then just open up Arma II turn on the dayzepoch1051 expansion, turn off the launching of other mods at the launcher and add the above IP in the "Remote" section of the Multiplayer screen. Or just search for "Glory" Looking forward to seeing you on the server.

Added Firehouse/grocery/school set to a block in Brienz. Sorry for any of the folks last night when the hackers who blew up the traders. They were swiftly removed and the server rebooted.

Added more missions. Always great to see an IKEA mission to get materials for one's base. Try out our perm Training grounds mission, difficult but a great payout. Now at 500 vehicles. Just moved more repaired vehicles to the main spawn points including some repaired Hueys and MI17s this morning. Great admins, but don't ask to be teleported... It is still Dayz. Plenty of site for bases open, we added a few custom ones for pubbers to move right in on.

If you want a fun, Dayz Epoch environment that you get what you loot and not looking for free candy at the door, this is the server for you. There is a 20 mission pack running as well as animated crashes with good loot. AI helis to make a small challenge. An AI stronghold with good loot. It will take you quite a while to get bored here. Yes the Admins are active and will protect the player base vs hackers. For example: two clowns joined yesterday and kept getting BEC kicked for scripts, Examination show them having LRR115s 6 mags of ammo, pipebombs, large gunbags, 12500 humanity, all within 15 minutes of joining the server. They then started teleporting around the map killing the legit players. Admins took the appropriate action. We will consider creating/importing custom bases to build off of for groups/clans of 3 or more players. We now have Indestructible Cinder and locked vehicles within 90m of a plot pole are indestructible. We have custom castles and some custom frames for bases to build off of already imported. BTW, did I mention that plot pole maintenance is FREE? Yes, I said "FREE." Removed AI at some miltary bases. Added a 20-mission pack with assorted great loot including construction loot. . Adding some custom bases. Lowering some Trader prices this weekend.
