have i just got the worst luk ever or am i doing it wrong ?

I thought that when I first got the game too. Couldn't find guns for the life of me and thought something was wrong with my install. Today I started and within maybe 15-20 minutes I have found an AK47, mp5, Makarov, revolver, 1911, hatchet, Lee enfield, double barreled, and a crossbow. You don't even need to be in a huge city, Winchesters are everywhere and they are really good for zombie hunting -
Honestly if canned goods healed that much there would rarely ever be a reason to have less than 1200 health. It's so easy to find canned goods. Dead zombies drop them all the time. Barbed wire is annoying most of the time though

Then proceed to chop zombies up. With practice you can kill zombies without getting hit back (indoors...mostly) -
Agreed. I would honestly rather get shot and killed 100 times by the cowards before I turn into one.
