  1. Hello Malhiem, Are you using Six Launcher to launch/update the game? If you are and this isn't helping, then please try updating to the latest official Arma 2 Beta build. ( http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ ) 95208 in the green box at the top. Has anything changed since you were last able to connect?
  2. Fair enough, hopefully a fresh install with sort it. I know Arma X users seem to get errors like this a lot. It's just verification for me that Arma is using the DayZ folder, nothing more.
  3. The very first screen that loads, with Single Player, Multi Player, etc. :)
  4. How crazy. This is a bit of a silly question, but when you load the game, do you see @Dayz under the Arma 2 icon located at the top right of the main screen.
  5. Hello Jf1ve, You mentioned that steams says the game is unavailable. Can you please go to Steam, right click Arma 2, go to properties, then to Local Files, and finally select "Verify integrity of game cache". Then repeat this process for Arma 2: OA. EDIT: Also make sure you're running Steam as Administrator.
  6. Okay, so I've logged onto 3 servers now, looted 3 guns, and each log has lost me that gun. At first I assumed it'd be to harsh rubber banding, but then I realised my position and inventory stayed exactly the same. Is anyone else having this issue?
  7. Okay, that's a bit odd. Navigate to your Operation Arrowhead folder. ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead ) for most people. Rename "ArmA2OA" to something like "ArmA2OA_Backup", Then go to Expansions -> Beta and move that ArmA2OA back to the OA root folder. Give it a whirl. Sorry, normally most people get fixed after the beta patch! :P
  8. Okay, I suppose the first step is to make sure your Arma 2 beta is up to date. ( http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php/ ) The link in the green box at the top on the left, for patch 94700, download that and then install it, if you're prompted by a CD Key error don't worry too much. Once that's installed run DayZ as you normally would and then on the first screen with Single player, multi player, etc confirm that it says @Dayz under the Arma 2 logo at the top right. If it does, try connecting to a server. Post results. :)
  9. Hello, We'll start with the basics, What version of the Arma 2 Beta are you running? Is it a retail copy or steam copy? Have you connected to any games?
  10. Then explain it to them. :P If they're at Cherno & you're at Elektro, simply tell them to run with the coast on their right shoulder. :P
  11. You can reinstall BattleEye. Some people reckon it can cause loading issues. :P
  12. This applies to both of you; Are you connecting to 1.7.2 servers?
  13. Do you get any errors? Does it hang at certain points?
  14. Ahh, that's great news! :) Enjoy your surviving! :)
  15. When you load up DayZ via Six Launcher on the first screen, with Single Player, Multiplayer etc, at the top right under the Arma 2 logo does it say "@dayz" as one of the lines of text? Sorry if this confuses you, I'll upload a picture. :)
