  1. This game currently has undergone 0 balancing. Why bother adjusting M4 accuracy and precision values if you can find one easily within 5 minutes of spawning in? This really isn't a priority and SHOULD NOT be a priority at this stage in development. The engine, architecture, and zombies should be the top priority. Not M4 Accuracy.
  2. C'mon bro, the inventory feels worse than ArmA? Really are we even playing the same game? 1 week since a stable alpha build and you want it polished like a game that has been out of alpha for 5 years? WTF are you even smoking. Go play the mod and check back next year.
  3. It seems like a simple fix: Closing your game to escape death = 2 minutes ingame unable to move until you safely log out. Taking damage ends the countdown resulting in a restart of countdown when safe, forcibly exiting your game keeps your character ingame to receive damage until the timer is done. Logging out to switch servers = Being reset to beach if switch to a different server in a half hour time period. (You can log out and in into the same server as much as you want without being penalized) If you want to switch to a different server you must wait 30 minutes from the time you log out of the last server you were in to avoid being reset to the beach. (Only location reset, not character)
  4. Farming loot via server swapping has always been frowned upon. Why you expect any other reaction than the one you're getting is completely beyond me.
  5. Randomly resetting characters and bodies disappearing should be #1 priorities followed by Zombie pathfinding and server optimizations to increase numbers.
  6. :rolleyes: Not sure what you expected in the first week of Alpha when there were warnings at every corner. Not saying losing your character isn't annoying but you shouldn't be that attached to a character that can get wiped at any update anyways.
  7. Yeah that screenshot looks like daylight ffs. People are too used to urban light pollution and the ambient light it causes IRL. Come on out to the countryside with no moon out. Lemme know how "easy" you see.
  8. It's the generation of games that have come before this game that have created an addiction to "goals" and "end games". People are so conditioned to "install game -> spawn into world -> level up to become badass -> complete objectives developers have set for them" Instead of a game that allows you to "install game -> spawn into world -> do whatever the fuck you want, you create your end game" Without set objectives people have a hard time thinking for themselves, this is one example. Rocket will create content to allow you to create your OWN objectives, to set out to survive in the way YOU choose. If that makes this game only a "niche" game then so be it. I'd rather have freedom than be a slave to a mindless objective. You can set your own goal, you don't have to survive. Why do you think it gives you the option to drink disinfectant or why they will add the option to shoot yourself? Freedom.

  10. The game is about surviving, not about spawning with an AK and hunting people down. If you have no weapon then AVOID contact unless you have balls of steel. It's not hard going north and gearing up lone wolf.

    Sniper Rifles

    Assault rifles are a million times more common than a 50 cal sniper rifle, and the ammo is even more rare due to the expensive caliber. This is a survival simulator, not a sniping simulator. All of those .50 cal weapons exist in Arma3, I recommend you try that game.

  14. It's not the damage that is the problem it is the widespread availability of the M4. Which will change when they do loot balancing.
  15. Yeah too many people who didn't understand what they were getting into. Really pathetic considering this is posted on the steam page: WARNING: THIS GAME IS EARLY ACCESS ALPHA. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE IT UNLESS YOU WANT TO ACTIVELY SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME AND ARE PREPARED TO HANDLE WITH SERIOUS ISSUES AND POSSIBLE INTERRUPTIONS OF GAME FUNCTIONING.

  17. I agree I always wondered about that myself, it should theoretically work like packing up a tent.
  18. I miss the side chat, it's a shame there isn't a way to disable voice chat and still keep it. Hard to get close enough to people to communicate friendliness through direct chat. Love everything else about the mod, can't wait for more buildings to liven up some of the smaller villages and take the pressure off all of the hot spots for loot.
  19. I also like night time, I hope it doesn't go away permanently. Something cool about going into a town and seeing flares lit up.

  21. Isn't that why you have Arma 2? I mean seriously just start that game up, you get all kinds of guns and vehicles.
