Alot of times if I do it right, they don't even have time to alt + f4 because I am unseen. It's just bad when whole groups of people see one guy go down, then they dont just alt f4 and go somewhere else, they try and sneak around you and rejoin the server. Some suggestions have been made as to how to fix it but at the end of the day people can always just unplug the internet cable from their computer just like it's always been and there would need to be a measure against that as well. Ive seen people express that a cool down timer would not work either because 5 - 10 seconds is too short for them to even be aware the person has logged in a siege situation. So at this point in time I think people will have to just pick their targets carefully and try and sync attacks.

I just want to point out that animals are an npc that provides items valuable to player survival. I think throwing in some random NPC bandits that shoot back inside grocery stores would liven things up a bit. It could also prove to result in funny encounters among players who hear shots.

Yea this has happened to me twice now over the past few days. I spawn where I logged out at, then instantly die and appear in debug area. Log out, log back in and im on the coast somewhere completly wiped. Can we get a hot fix for this?

I found a camp with some vehicles and loaded one down and went to blow the other up. I shot it up with my AS50 a few times wanting to see it go boom and I was kicked from the game for this same "Script error #55". Came back in and it was gone so I assume it blew. Hopefully this helps get down to the cause of this. *Edit* - Yea I just realized the vehicle I shot up was a tractor just like in the video, probably something bugged with vehicle damage or something?

IMHO: Until hackers are gone I don't mind having a backup set in a tent that respawns. Games alpha after all.

I was in the server I believe when this happened, except I was teleported to what seemed like debug forest, whacked, but then magically after a second or two I was standing unequipped of everything except my camo cloths where I logged out at. I logged out logged back in and my guy had all his stuff again and there was a dead body of mine laying at my feet. Got lucky I guess lol.

Honestly, to me it feel's like the less time spent trying to make miracles happen with the arma2 engine and basic coding on stuff, the more time that can be devoted to tackling these same problems when working on the stand alone. It's great that everyone has posted alot of useful information reguarding current bugs, exploits, and problems with the game. TL;DR - I just simply feel that taking the current dayz to beta on the same engine would be too much wasted effort since everyone wants to see the stand alone shine as a bug free monument to pc gaming.

Every server should have kill messages with who your killer is. Not only because it's nice to know who your enemy is, but if you need to report someone for say, killing you in a chopper or invisible with a hatchet.

Basically, if I understand this right, things like grocery stores or anything that has a chance of militaty loot can spawn a knife or matches among other things. You can also find canned food in grocery stores which restore blood when eaten. I for one seem to find many maps, binos, knives, matches but hardly any compass.

If it makes ya feel any better, lost a ghillie m107 coyote backpack, nvgs, and fn fal. But, just got two axe murders in cherno... I swear hackers are the only ones that ever kill me in illigitimate ways.

I just randomly died in that server with all my stuff, no one around nothing, sounded like a melee swing what the hell man. Did they just nuke the server?

AH yes, good observation. I dunno, maybe have some kind of junk item like deadbolt assembly. I am against the idea of there just being something without reason.
