  1. Everyone has their own opinion based on their personal experience. The only hostility I've experienced so far is watching gunfights inside the the cities and a sniper camping across the supermarket that almost killed me. Everyone else I've come across upclose is just minding their own business or go into the opposite direction, one even silently followed me for looting even though he's fully armed and i never said the word "friendly"
  2. They're practically Road Runners but without the "beep! beep!"
  3. Hahaha, same thing I've experienced but from the coast line of Cherno. As i state in my other post... "Super psychic infected"
  4. I saw a smilar incident happen days ago hidden from a distance with opposite result, There was a guy on mic needed assistance for blood tranfussion and was really whiny about it, even begin cursing when noone replies. At last someone came to help him transfuss the blood and he actually thank him for it. I almost thought I'll see that nice player getting shot in return but it didn't happen. There's still hope for the community! :)
  5. Get inside a building and the infected will slow down on the door step giving you enough time to turn around shoot them. I do agree they're a bit too fast(looking a bit cartoonish at times) and makes it really annoying to loose them if you're unarmed( run between the treelines or swim) My suggestion is to crawl all the time from a certain distant if you don't want the infected to notice you.
  6. I had similar equipments once on my fresh character but got killed minutes later by an infected on my way to get some medical supplies. Greed will get you killed.
  7. Mostly the zombies will aggro on the outskirts of Cherno, once you're inside the city it gets much easier. Crawling along the coastline doesn't work well anymore. My new method in is to crawl my way from the abandoned construction building all they way into Cherno. Seems a lot quieter although it will take you a long time to reach the supermarket/church.
  8. Haha! XD Nice~ I've been trying to get a bicycle for weeks with no success. That will be the last can i drink if i ran out of water.
  9. I have everything i need so i just stay on the outskirts of the cities near the tree line. I have only 15 infected kills so far with 6000+ blood at the moment. Spend most of my time hunting animals, raiding barns and deer stands as quietly as i can. I can say i play quite a safe game but i still take risk from time to time.
  10. if this is for real, I'll team up with other suvivors, find some weapons, food and try to stay alive avoing the major cities. Anyone here that suggest killing other people is just plain stupid. You think it's that easy to kill someone, hit them with a crowbar, or even to point a real gun at them? Plus this is not The Road( go watch the movie if you haven't yet) where the world is burnt down to ashes and food supplies is hard to come by. It's just an infection that turns people into violent-brainless folks. the world is still pretty much intact and food/water is everywhere. You can find lots of edible plants in the forest and rivers for water supply.
  11. Rather be a pussy than been killed off unarmed, almighty Dallas. :)
  12. I never went to the nw Airfield much, maybe like 3 times throughout my playthrough. It's too open and i never found any good loot while I'm there. If you watch enough youtube videos, you will know the airfields is a favourite spot for snipers. You probably should avoid the place altogether. I mostly loot on barns, deer stands and in desperate situations, the cities(where i move extremely slow around corners of each building and carefully look around) So far i have not been killed by other players but my luck may change any time, who knows.
  13. Nah, HalloweenNGT's just been trolling. You won't get you banned for logging off. I can just say I'm logging off for lunch or there's an important appointment. If you can ban people for logging off, there will already be thousands of disgruntled players. Perma-bans are mostly reserved for hackers and griefers.
  14. Forget the water pumps. The ponds up north is the safest/easiest spot for refilling your canteen. Zombie free and so far sniper free in my playthrough anyways.
  15. resident_leeonheart@yahoo.com

    Haha, loving it!

Sounds pretty much like my second day experience with the mod. Keep up the good work!
  16. I didn't experience any differences when I joined both regular and vet servers unless there's a difficulty setting I'm not aware of.
  17. Less people, better chance for looting without getting your head shot. ;)
  18. My advice: get as much food and drinks as you can from the cities and head north. At minimum 4 canned foods and 4 canned drinks. Canteen, matches and hunting knife multiplies your chances for survival by 200% if you're deep in the woods. Weapons and wood( if you have a hatchet, you can harvest them) can be found inside barns and deer stands up north so i don't worry much about them while I'm looting in Elektro or Cherno. I have never been shot in the NW Airfield but I've seen a lot of thread here about snipers camping on the tower. It's not a really good place to loot anyways.
  19. As a fan of The Walking Dead series and Zack Snyder's Dawn of the Dead remake both of which features zombie children, yes i would love to see zombie children and even female zombies. Would add a lot of variety and immersion to the game. ps. shouldn't this thread moved to the 'DayZ Suggestions' section?
  20. You will need to find spare parts and repair the vehicle before you can ride them.
  21. Experience means everything, individual or otherwise. ;)
  22. Happens to me in the cities. Was perfectly sneaking on side of the road with no infected around. Next thing i know an infected tp beside me and start attacking. Happens at random.
  23. Glad you got him but If i ever see a bike and noone else around, i might as well just take it and ride as far away as i can from that location. :)
  24. Depends on the server you play in. Before this week, i was able to loot Cherno for supply almost everyday without much issue. Around 2 days back i noticed the place is full of dead players and gun fights.
