Finally found a heli on a server that's not mine and it all repaired except engine, I jump to my server and bring in everything I need but only got 2 jerry cans. Take off, start flying north following the east road and land 100m away from gas tank. I start running and hear a car, drop down and take out my as50. 2 guys on a motorcycle drive by and i end up missing my 1st shot, knowing they cant take off without fuel I run up the mountain and sit in a bush with a perfect view. Take 1 guy out and wait out for his buddy as I requested a couple of friends to jump in and help. AND thats where the server goes down. So admin(s) of US 744, do tell me why the server is down? Don't worry, i saved the huey when I got out to go and refuel so it's going to be sitting right there infront of me. When I joined i asked the admins online what happened and they claimed "HFB crashed server ***WE HAD TO RESTART MULTIPLE TIMES***" Sorry fellas, I sat there in server list refreshing for 20minutes, the server never came back. So we set in setup for a bit and I mentioned I jacked their server and balblabla all good; I log back in in the same spot and LOL, i hear a lee! Basically kill 2 admins because they are total noobs and just shoot loud guns in the open/stand in one spot for over 10 seconds. And right at that point they kicked me, I rejoined, KICKED, rejoined KICKED, changed name and flew the heli away but JUST now crashed it in the mountains because I dont have the time to deal with this fail server.

So you just confirmed that you are breaking core DayZ rule by hacking/exploiting/DUPING Nice.

Ya, you just need to flush vram I simply overclock/downclock gpu core by 1mhz when entering big cities/tent areas

Ehhhh.... do people not read the game wiki? YES, the vehicle could be repaired but you will need every single part for it; just do not save and when server it will be fully fixed either where it blew up or back where you saved it last.

So I heard helicopters are back and finally updated my server, checked everywhere and not able to find them..... How many are supposed to spawn? And are there any known spawning problems. EDIT: fuck.... just read the 0.7 hotfix and that helis come in 36 hours... SO why were all the servers locked yesterday?

downclock your gpu I run 1ghz on core everywhere except cherno; I do not know what the fuck is wrong with the map but many building draw points are 20 meters above and the gpu just draws the plates in 2D have to drop to 880mhz to get rid of most of the artifacts

Sorry kid, not everyone has countless hours to run through forests looking for hidden vehicles just to have the autistic admin lock the server and have you lose that vehicle you have just found. Plus admins appear to piss their panties and restart servers every time one of their many camps gets raided

No, it has been tested that weapons/gear/backpacks/character status do not affect the running speed of your character But the fps thing may be plausible, I never seen frames lower than 40 in dayz so I have no say but I have noticed running than friends who are wearing same gear and have just eaten and drank (ingame) before we go out on a hunt for nubs

lol @ the down syndrome children above me Arma II engine was made to be highly mod-able and thats why we are having the hacker problems. 1) this mod is 100% compatible with dayz as it only modifies vision files 2) you can do this yourself if you go into arma II (base game) files and find nvg; go photoshop, edit the image to whatever you like and TADA! You have your own custom nvg effect
