I am sure it has and will continue to be a work in progress. I for one am much happier to deal with the outcome of a oops it made a mistake rather than have everyone on the server constantly disrupted by a kid mad that he got killed or had to work for weapons and gear. Instant gratification isn't something Dayz offers it makes you work hard for the things you have found.

No but he had the decency to approach the Server Adminstrators with a little respect and some general WTF ! It all worked out in the end and really we cant wait to shoot it up some more with them. At least they are legit players that enjoy the mod as much as we do

Perhaps you should choose a server more carefully then before attempting to make it your home. This is one awesome mod and we can't wait for the stand alone ourselves. Here are some clips from some of our fun !

If you thought those FREE hacks were the ones that no-one including Admins could see you need a brain transplant. 3. The majority of our Admins and player base has been holding down Elektro for weeks now. 4. If you were banned from this server I assure you that you deserved it Have a nice day and enjoy the ban hammer :blush:

I am entertained at this point by all of the colorful posts that have been made on this particular thread. I hope that this particular thread will be eye opening to what happens on servers when communities and clans are targeted by less than honest individuals. I see many servers being exploited to the point that this game is unplayable. Pretty sad to be honest that we must endure the constant threats of blacklisting or hackers taking everything from everyone that they spent hours, days or weeks getting. The "we" is the entire Dayz Community that plays this game without the use of a third party application program to resolve their boredom. I can only hope that by sharing information with the Devs will help to resolve this issue quickly as hacking a Dayz server has become an epidemic in the last few months.I am also aware that many Admins have a temper and will ban out of spite but let me assure you that The Disturbed Gamers Community Admins are far from hot headed or quick to ban without the proper documentation to support a ban. If you feel you were wrongly banned and want to roll the dice that your copy of Arma gets bricked then so be it. Contact the Devs or battleye for further support. We do want to extend an invite to the public to come out and play and have a good time shooting us and the many regulars that frequent our server. Hello Gents and Ladies, I know first hand how much of a PITA chasing hackers off your servers can be. The Devs have enough weight on their shoulders making sure the game is performing properly. I have owned and operated many servers with my Community in the last 5 years. I have to say that Dayz is one of the most amazing mods we have ever had the pleasure of playing. BUT .... the hackers make it pretty damn miserable. We are in the process of adding security mods that are meant for THE BASE GAME since Dayz is only a MOD, not the engine. We will share with the Community here because we know what a PITA it can be dealing with these leet groups of script kiddies. First they are using scripts to access the server to run the hacks on. These scripts can be used in many ways. Check your servers to make sure that no player can upload any custom content or even connect to it without it first being scanned by the server. The server has kicked over 30 people today alone since we implented file checking to make sure everyones files are what they are suppose to be. This means only Rockets and Arma's content is only allowed.
