This seems to be a common problem, could you private message me your computer's details? Are you on an administrator account? What firewall do you use? What antivirus do you use? Did you try updating java @ http://www.java.com/ Any other details will help me out.

I think this error happens when you don't launch combined operatios. Or it might be one of the errors you can ignore, have you tried joining a game?

I'm not sure what causes that issue, all the servers show up with '?' for me, not 'x'

Maybe if you upload dayz_anim.pbo, I could take a quick peak, to me it sounds like the file didn't extract correctly. Did you use the updater or extract it yourself?

This is something i'll be sad to see go. There were a few things I really liked about the humanity/bandit system. - Whenever my survivor group found another player there was always frantic talk over vent "is he a bandit?" etc - Getting killed by a survivor is frustrating but getting killed by a branded killer (bandit) was less frustrating, you know their motivations. - Using blood packs as a way to recover humanity was a prime reason to venture into cities and take risks. - Humanity/Bandit status remaining after death meant players had to be dedicated to their chosen playstyle. I understand the feature isn't finished, but it seems it has become a key component in the DayZ formula. Just my 2 cents

You could try a forced/full update to ensure the downloaded file wasn't corrupt. If everything updated fine and this still happened i'd be interested to find out the size of that file from the windows explorer. Does manually installing that one file resolve the issue ?

You've done everything right, the central data server must just be bogged down, your best bet is just waiting.

You need to launch combined operations, that should fix it.

If you aren't seeing any errors there is likely something external stopping the program from working, I would advise you to take the .rar files and manually install them into the proper mod folder.

Extracting should only take a couple of seconds, maybe a minute. There must be something else going on, try navigating to the Arma II Operation Arrowhead folder, and pasting the path into the install tool.

You get 'CABuildingParts and the other errors from not launching combined operations I believe. But I could be wrong. This is a cause of the downloadable content error as well.

It depends on your system, that is the default folder, but if you installed steam on a different drive or directory, you'll have to update it to match. I could update it to detect the location of your steam installation later.

Yes that is likely a glitch, I updated it last night to better handle this problem. But likely the path to your arma folder is incorrect. Try the new version, double check your path, then if all else fails it may be a a problem with administrator access/antivirus.

Updated again and added a "Play" button, so players won't have to modify their steam launch options anymore :D. Another step removed.

Possibly, I was atleast thinking I'd make every option configurable, so it would work for any ArmA II mod.
