  1. Hi there, I have two potential suggestions for the mod: - Wondering if it's possible to add an auto-run button (many MMO's have this). Basically at times a player can be running through miles and miles of empty (except for trees) forest. It would be good to not hold "W" down the whole time, and be able to keep going while you dash to the fridge for a beer or take a bio break :) I'm not sure the engagement and fun factor would be compromised by not having to hold down W the entire time. - I noticed a huge disparity between the loot in small towns and loot in the larger cities. Now, I get it. Bigger city = more stuff, more people, more risk. But the thing is the smaller towns should probably still have some water, food, bullets or something - especially since they often have a fair share of zombies in them. If anything I have found small towns more risky from a zombie perspective (not sure why that is). I've scoured entire small settlements and found ...nothing, I guess, except for an empty whiskey bottle. In lieu of being able to go into buildings and ransack them for supplies, it seems like it might be good to add just a WEE bit more loot to the small towns? Anyway, the mod is amazing and I look forward to more!

The New Zombie Count is AWESOME

I think the increased zombie count is awesome. However, I think it also "broke" things balance-wise, a little bit. The main problem is you can't kill a zombie quietly (unless you got super lucky and have a fully loaded crossbow). So to defend yourself, you pretty much HAVE to make noise, which can bring a flood of zombies down on you. Then you can't really escape or hide. IMO the increased zombie count, while awesome, should be (or have been) accompanied by just a couple of other tweaks: - melee defense/attack method (knife, axe, whatever). Guns seem more for enemy players and panic situations with zombies. In the real zompoc you'd use hand weapons far more often. - more loot in general, so that risk=reward. - the shooting engine also isn't very "crisp" so I find that the zombies run like crazy at you, then kinda "side step" you, and given the jerkiness of aiming etc it's often very difficult to get a shot in before taking hits. It's coming along beautifully, but there's definitely some key opportunities for improvement imo!
  3. I suppose. There are some pretty hefty fields where nothing is happening at all and you are just running in a straight line for 10 mins or whatever. That said, it's not a deal breaker by any means.
  4. Agree with the OP, I much prefer the game in third person mode.
  5. As one of the new crop of players, my POV: - I'm not sure it's fair to discriminate against the players who found out about this amazing content later than others did :) Why can't we all enjoy it? I paid (40?) dollars to get the Arma software JUST to play this mod. - The servers don't feel particularly full to me (other than "you cant join because it's full"). I find I can play all night and see only 2, maybe 3 other players - even in the bigger cities!

Loadings are getting longer and longer

I'd have to vote no to closing it to the general public simply because the publicity has likely gotten a lot of people (like me) to buy Arma 2 (and OA) just to play it :) I know it's not ideal to have such a sudden influx of players, but I'd recommend adapting to that rather than locking it down - I think at this point locking it down would...well, suck.
