Anybody who thinks only good, successful games have a story are so out of it they shouldn't even bother purchasing DayZ. Think about all the original games that are simple and awesome to play, like, I don't know, just about every arcade game ever made for the most part. How about just about every card game ever made? Tetris, Magic the Gathering, Solitare, DDR, just about every physical acrade plaza, Minecraft and yes, yes DayZ. I could sit down and think of TONS of games with no story that were meant for just pure fun. Doesn't matter if you liked them or not or the time they were created in. They are all sucessful games with no story. I don't think the creators of any of those games are too lazy or uncreative enough to the point where they don't deserve what they have accomplished. You get the high score, you win or you build. All great fun. If you REALLY REALLLLLY want a good story I suggest sitting down and reading a book instead; I've always been told books were full of stories.

Are there any stash points in the game right now? My dude is decently supplied and I don't wanna bother trying to keep it if there are no stash points. PS. I do understand that all characters are getting wiped when needed.

I've only had one good sit down session with the stand alone so I hope I'm wrong with this but as I've gotten to experience so far bleeding in the game is more miserable now than it was in the mod with the addition of a ton of melee. I died about five times in the few hours I played by just running up to people and starting fist fights. With the lack of items around right now it seems that you're done and over with by getting punched in the face just a couple times due to bloody nose. I do think you should continue to have the ability to knock somebody out and go unconcious but I don't think you should gush blood everywhere so easily to the point where you just need to die off. How do you all feel? Truth to that?

LOL! You can't tell me it's not the funniest thing in the world to just start running up behind people screaming, punching and maybe someday kicking. Just having fun is all. : )

Haha I'm not complaning at all. I was just having fun with the new drunk over the mic fist fight in the streets feature and thought it was a bit much. I guess there probably is a ton of stuff in the game when you take your time and avoid/supply but I do love running around causing trouble though. ^^

The first run I did I played it seriously and tried to supply my character. The only bandages I found were on dead players. There's really not a whole lot of loot right now in the spawning areas or much you can do when somebody like me runs up to you and just starts punching you in the head laughing. I don't think a player should be able to do so much damage so quickly. I think it can be very trolly.
