First,you should ask the question here : http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/146536-can-i-run-dayz-post-here/ But to answer youre question, its NO you will NOT run dayz smooth with a GT630, its no were powerful enuff for Arma 2/Dayz..sorry buddy You will be able to run Dayz on really low resolution with bad framerate/graphic quality.

Why you MUST have +60fps in cherno, is that youre goal? Heres a secret: Even with a overclocked Titan and a overclocked i5@+4,5ghz you will struggle getting +60 fps in cherno on high/very high sometimes WHY? Its the arma 2 engine, when shit goes down in big towns (cherno/electro) ALL computers will struggle hard keeping the fps up Tip: Overclock youre cpu to the MAX, if its an i7,disable HT (Hyper trading) as this sometimes makes games slower. Arma 2 is heavily cpu hungry,the moar GHZ the better

Yupp, you get nice textures like this: BUT: only if you have a good gaming pc,beeing able to run the game on high/very high you will get the extra eye candy :) Pics taken from my FUN server http://imgur.com/a/fJmUk EDIT: To answer youre question too, no there are not many hackers/scriptkiddies around anymoore, not on private servers anyway. Often private servers have custom/added extra antihack.

Question: Can a player from Europe play on US servers without much ping problems?

I live in scandinavia,my ping to us servers are usally 160-180, and i can play on them with no problem at all. -

Yea, i belive the L85A2 holo come with the 1.7.5.1 patch and the L85A2 SUSAT come with the 1.7.6 patch, as said before the L85A2 AWS (thermal) was remove because OP. -

Try "Anisotropic Filtering" medium/low-that have a big impact "Shadow"-medium/low "HDR"-very high (high if fps drops badly) "Terrain"-high "Objects"-normal "Visibility"-try set it to default 1600,for now and raise after you got a moore steady fps This settings here + youres is identical to a comp i put together for a friend (differance is hes got a GTX 660ti Gigabyte OC and play at 1920x1080) He gets a steady 45-70fps in wilderness, 30-45fps in cities,sometime it drop to 25fps when theres alot of stuff going on (zeds spawn in BIG numbers) Try it out

Ah, the BMRF and Zombies.nu servers are greate, Dayzero runs smooth, i been testing those servers myself, they are one of the smoothest Dayz servers out there... It could be fun to see a pic of youre ingame gfx settings. On the other hand, those Dayzero servers are always full...all of them. Maybe someone else who play there could share their experience aswell, cause I havent had any issues playing there (i5 2500K@4,7Ghz and HD 7970 overclocked + SSD for game and OS)

The AMD C50 is a low end APU (cpu and a gpu onboard) Dont even bother to try play Arma 2 /Dayz on that hardware,its a no go. Sorry

I you dont know,leave it until you know better. Some laptops are not easy to clean out without removing some parts (backplates/batteries..so on) BUT, if you can monitor youre temp while playing, it could give you a clue IF you have a heat problem. Download HWmonitor: http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html Its a small app, it will monitor youre cpu/gpu temp, leave it running while you play.

Youre specs are fine, but dont compare Arma 2/Dayz with some syntetic benchmarks, Arma 2 is another beast, and so are the different servers for Dayz. Does this low fps apply to all servers or just high pop servers? Cause some servers just crap out when theres alot going on (high player population) Try a low pop server and see if youre fps is still bad.

Full computer spec would be nice,and youre gaming resolutions. Did youre comp run on some overclock settings before the rollback/factory restore on youre comp? Have you change anything on youre comp from the last time Dayz run well? -
Laptops have a bad habbit of downclocking itself when heat become a issue, its summetime and temps are abit higher now. Cleaning (dusting) youre comp/fans with some compressed air or youre vacuum cleaner can solve the heat problem. You can also check "Control Panel--->Power Options--->High Performance" is checked,and always play with the powercord plugged in. Defrag youre hardrive will help, theres NO game who are so hardrive dependent as Arma,its a fact. Arma 2 and Dayz is running best on a HIGH clocked quadcore cpu and a SSD.

Ok, then if i say that you wont be able to play Dayz on high setting, will that answer youre question? Why you say, Its youre hardware. Very few laptops can run Dayz on HIGH settings, (with playable fps) -

I belive you have switchable graphic on that laptop, the on board Intel HD 3000 + youre dedicated nVidia gtx 555M. Is there a way to turn off the on board gfx (intel HD), sometimes if come across computers that throotle down and use the onboard gfx instead of the dedicated (moore powerful gfx) when gaming. Also check youre powersaving settings, when gaming always use the powercord plugged inn,and have the powersettings at MAX power,no saving. If you dont need powersaving features, just disable the onboard gfx and have a go.
