This guys speaks the truth. It is your hardware. I have artifacting right now because of 1.7.2.4 and, I have never had it before on DayZ (...or this system). I do hope 1.7.2.5 is pushed out today... ;)

You may try going to your DLCsetup folder, and from there, you will "verify cache". Before doing that, it may be best that you delete the folders called BAF and PMC. When you verify the DLC, it will reinstall both BAF and PMC if you deleted the folders... I would just try to verify the cache first...and, I hope this helps you, mate. ^_^ EDIT: I had to do this, but I also have my DLC through Steam. Good luck...

I have to say something... If you paid that much (..almost $2000 USD), and it will not run DayZ at max settings...well, that is just pathetic. It is also not "bullshit" that someone could build a PC for far less than what you paid for yours, while still cranking out higher FPS. I would be very eager to hear what your system specifications are, if you don't mind. Send me a copy of your dxdiag file, and I will do my best to help you get DayZ running smoother, mate. ^_^

I use a Turtle Beach X31, and I have never had a problem detecting where the sound is coming from. Hearing other players' footsteps is priceless... :rolleyes:
