    Shit/Piss System v1.1

If you've got to piss every 100 minutes of you piss yourself, you've got some serious issues. You also have some serious oversights in your system. I was in the Infantry for nine years, and I can tell you that we didn't piss or shit anywhere near that often. Keep in mind that when you're exerting yourself by running, crouch-walking, and crawling, you will likely sweat a lot of your hydration out. It wasn't uncommon to drink water most of the day and not piss at all.

    US 1345 Admin Abuse

So I made a post in the Server General topic to report the admins on US 1345. I've got video proof of them kicking me for no reason, as well as a screenshot of their (still, as of this post) locked server. There are also two other posts from people about this same server, right around the time I was making mine. I'm certain that they are chopper hunting due to the update, but as nice as it might be to have one, this is just bullshit behavior on their part. If multiple admins are behaving that way, that server needs to be blacklisted.

    US 1345 - Admin Kicking w/o Cause

UPDATE! Server is locked with 8 people in. Gee, I wonder what they could be after...helicopters maybe?
  6. Was trying to join US 1345, my ping was in the 80s, so shouldn't have been a problem. Admin was present in the game and kept kicking me when I tried to join for no cause. Tried multiple times to confirm it wasn't an error, took the following vids as proof: In this video, Lemisto switches to Admin right before I start to log into the game. Then in this video, [YOLO]CHAZ is the Admin. I've got one more video where I actually made it into game, about 30 seconds or so later I was kicked. If needed to take action, I'll be happy to post it.
  7. As horrible as it would be to have this happen to me, I have to say...I LIKE IT! Since it'd be straight gas, it wouldn't need to work as effectively as if someone did it currently (which generally uses a mixture of things), but yes, this would be very cool. Er, hot.

    Trade Zones

I see what you're going for, but trying to enforce places like isn't a realistic concept and would really break the 4th wall. In an apocalyptic event like the game has portrayed, there won't likely be any organized body that could enforce this type of system, or at least not for some time. There's been plenty of movies that dealt with topics like this (The Postman comes to mind), and any military force/government that comes about is highly likely to be akin to a dictatorship. It's more likely that you'd be conscripted into their ranks, rather than simply trade your goods and go on your way. I completely agree that it can be very frustrating at times to have things you don't need, and need things you don't have, but that's why you have to find a server with some like-minded people that are willing to trust, and that you can trust.

    Semi-permanent Residence, (un)-safe housing

The biggest problem with this idea, which I think has merit, is that once you start to repair/fortify/maintain said residence, you WILL draw attention from other players, and therefore, you'll get camped. A lot. The only way I see this being viable is if server populations were locked. That is, a character being restricted to the server it was created on. Since server hopping is common, and with no stable population on a server, you'd have a never ending stream of people either wanting to loot your place or kill you for fun. If they want to join you, there's a good chance it's only to loot your place and eventually kill you anyways so they can take it over. If DayZ were a co-op game instead of the multi-player game that it is, this would be a great idea, but don't think it'd work in the current environment.
  10. Just curious, but how do you know it has a thermal scope? If it's because it's night in game and he's hitting them, all it takes is cranking the gamma and brightness up and he'll be able to hit them most of the night.
  11. Be glad people can get to the loading screen, we just get a message that says "Bad version, server rejected connection" in the ARMA 2 screen. Getting a bit peeved with HFB.

Newbie got a motorcycle in 10 minutes :D

Now that sucks. IMO, the bike is the best vehicle in the game. Might be loud to Z's, but it's pretty quiet for players. It falls down when not in use, so it's a lot easier to hide, doesn't require fuel, and from my experience, self-repairs itself from time to time. WIN!
  13. I'm currently playing with some friends, all PAX Enforcers, but I'm ex-military myself and am always looking for more people to play with, so I'll be sending a PM shortly.

You can probably drive it safely, but do NOT bump into anything. That will most likely make it explode, you along with it. Good find though.

    People are horrible.

I agree that there's a difference between killing to survive and killing because you can. The only time I've killed another player, prior to being shot at, was because my food and water meters were both flashing, and the supermarket I was in had neither. I was getting ready to start running from house to house, Z's be damned, when I hear player footsteps just outside. He was armed with an AK74S Kobra, had an ALICE pack, etc...so I shot him. I wasn't proud of it. I wasn't giggling cause I killed some noob. In fact, I felt kinda bad about it. Like many games, the choices I make in DayZ reflect what I'd do if I were really in that situation. I'm no murderer, but if it comes down to a stranger or myself, I choose to live. Yes, I could have asked him for spare food over direct chat, he might have even given me some happily, but at the time, I was feeling the desperation of my predicament (which is a testament to how good this game is and can be). And if you're that player, who killed the two Z's that followed you into the building, then were shot, I'm honestly sorry. Next time I came across a player, it was at a helicopter crash. Guy aggroed some Z's and started shooting them with his newly found FN FAL. Bad choice. He got mobbed, I saw a LOT of blood, but he got them down. Now, I could have shot him, one shot would probably have done the trick, but instead, I openly ran across the field towards him, all the while saying "friendly, I've got a blood bag if you need help" as I approached. Oddly, he declined, but he didn't get hostile, so we parted ways peacefully. That's two of dozens of encounters I've had with players. Nearly every other one involved an exchange of bullets, but that's due to their mentality, not mine. Yes, there are a lot of players that are hostile to EVERYONE, but every now and then you find someone that's genuinely friendly. If you do, I recommend you exchange contact info so you can play together again.
