  1. Oh, really? All the bad admins stop hosting and I will have no where to play? On the contrary, I will have everywhere to play. There are thousands of servers with plenty of amazing admins who keep a cool head and follow the rules set by the DayZ staff. If all the bad admins stop hosting then that moves DayZ a step in the right direction.

  3. I'm sorry, I thought I was posting on a forum not under the control of a ruthless dictatorship. Oh! That's right. I am posting on a forum not under the control of a ruthless dictatorship. So that means my opinions do matter. I signed up here to post a bug that I had, off-topic goofing around, and opinions that I had on some topics. If that makes you upset, then I'm sorry. Tis the way it is. Also, I hope you get a chance to read the forum rules; specifically:
  4. The group claiming hackers was based off of a hearsay that was said over vent (which could have never even have happened) without clear evidence (both visually or the logs; they just found the camp through metagaming and not hacking.) The group claiming blacklist has visual and logical evidence from multiple sources and separate claims (OP's claim being the strongest.) Whilst you see an e-peen war, I see a valid argument favoring the blacklist side. I'm still for blacklisting the server, though. I'm glad he apologized, but what he did is inexcusable. He clearly violated the rules and thought he was in the right. Just because he said sorry doesn't mean he should be let off the hook. Repeatedly restarting the server to save his camp from getting looted isn't fair and given this situation isn't moral. He was restarting the server based on hearsay over vent that it was a hacker raiding his camp without checking the logs. Again, I am glad he said sorry and supposedly admits he will never do this again, but I still think he should suffer the consequences. This will snowball to other admins blatantly abusing only to say sorry and have free reign as they horde items and vehicles, free reign of shutting down/restarting servers when things don't go in their favor, and free reign to ruin people's fun/effort when they want to legitimately raid a camp. An admin should never restart or shut down the server unless they validate that it is a hacker or the server is being thunderdomed. I've been thunderdomed many times (and won the deathmatch a couple times; ALPHA MALE!) and afterwards I would find a way to kill myself and start over again. I've also been turned into a cow and lost all my stuff. Point is, I am not attached to my loot. As a server admin you should be doing your best to identify the hacker and report him/her, not protect your own stuff/loot. If your server was more populated, dez, then you would have been more disruptive to the others innocently playing than the "hacker" raiding your base. Also, after you actually checked the logs and found out that he wasn't hacking, instead of posting this, you posted this. A very shameful display. I hope everyone is happy now, and we can all enjoy ourselves. Good day. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  5. True, but not the point that I'm making. What I am saying is that the admin is protected by being the admin. If someone wants to report the admin, they'll have a harder time because the logs won't show the admin hacking and the admin will claim innocence because of the sanctuary of not being able to do any of the hacking. The admin will be clear of any charges and continue to hack. In doing so, is abusing his/her privileges as admin.
  6. I never said a thing about dual wielding or duplicating for that matter... All I said was that admins that lock/password their server are exploiting their position as an admin to gain an unfair advantage. Why do you want me to "Dig deep, rent my own server, spend my own time administering it, going through logs etc... and then come back to you"? Do you honestly defend the rogue servers that farm equipment? Do you lock your server?
  7. An admin exploiting their position as the admin to gain an unfair advantage is just as bad as a hacker. The difference is that a hacker can gain an unfair advantage in less time.

    Possible hacker US333

I don't know what if you posted and you can't even identify the person, but ^ what he/she said. People do log in/out of NWAF all the time. It's stupid as hell to do because it's a war zone up there, but people do it. I've done it twice because I thought I could have a second chance at finding some good loot the next time I log in and scout around for other players.

US 1857 Admin bans for guns we had

If a person gets into a harsh firefight with a person who is using a hacked in weapon and kills them, then they have the right to the spoils of war. It is up to them if they want to circulate that hacked weapon or not. An admin shouldn't ban people for using weapons. Admins should only be banning for racism, malicious talk, and hacking (along with solid, concrete evidence.)
  10. No, but you're adamant against people who claim an admin teleported to them and killed them. What are your thoughts on hacking and admins? What if the line between hacking and admin are far apart but the admin is responsible? For example, what if an admin has a clan and their based in his server. One of his/her members hacks and spawns in shitIdon'tevenknowwhat. The admin allows this and provides a safehaven for them to do this. And somewhere down the line, the admin has the hacker teleport the admin to a player to kill them. Now the admin is in a situation to claim innocence because they indeed weren't hacking. The logs will show that the admin wasn't hacking, but they were in cahoots with the hacker and they can get away with it because...
  11. Disregarding your childish, 4chanesque of a retort, racism isn't about biology. Language is connected with ethnicity. Ethnicity. Not biology. We all have the same biology. We all have a chance of having down syndrome babies; we all contract diseases; we all are classified as homo sapiens. However, what you do not understand is the way that I see it. I see it from a different angle in which you are wrong and were being borderline racist just by discriminating on language. Take Rwanda, for example. If you have seen the movie Hotel Rwanda it'll make more sense. http://www.history.c...wandan-genocide They are both, by your definition, the same biology. How can it be racist? It is racist due to the fact that it's not about biology, but ethnicity. Racism against color doesn't apply, but beliefs, morals, and language because of a persons ethnicity is still racist. Good day, sir!
  12. If you wish him to be banned for his lack of skill in the English language, you are dead wrong. Judge on action, not linguistics. You're wrong. There's a very fine line between racism and language. If a not fluent of my language speaker approached me and started a conversation in my language showing his or her obvious lack of fluency, should I blow him or her off as an idiot? No. One should not at all. Doing so is immoral and borderline racist. Which is also why I called you out on that.
  13. I don't think he reads thee ban appeals forum at all. He's too busy high on his pedestal thinking admins are almighty and innocent. Also, what if an admin was a hacker and teleports/remote kills/whateverZoopsaysadminsdon'tdo? The hacking admin hides under the umbrella of this sticky and gets away with it completely. After all "admins can't do that." -Admins are people -People are able to hack --Therefore Admins are able to hack Just because someone whines about an admin teleporting to them and killing them doesn't mean it's untrue.
  14. Or English might not be his first language and skipping because of punctuation could be racist.
  15. Hackers can also spawn you high in the air. Feel lucky that they didn't do that and that people lived that ordeal.
