This update only proves that the dev team doesn't have a spine. They put something in the game, that didn't change or break anything, and instantly pander to people whom never had an argument in the first place. You should feel bad that you backed down and allowed this to happen to supposedly "your game." You are putting it in the development in the hands of people who complain on the internet, but I'm sorry to inform you that they will always say that you're in the wrong. Stick to your core vision, quit caring about people who are just yelling to yell.

Kramartacus started following Standalone Camps with dogs as a defence.

When camps become more apart of the game, during the stand alone, you should add the option to build a kennel or save your dog to the camp. The idea is when someone enters (tresspasses) your camp the dog, that you have saved to the camp, wake's up and attack the tresspasser. This way your camps are safer while you log out, make the game feel like it's going on even when you're not playing, (Dead dog, Bandits killed) and when you team up to build camps you're stronger because you'll have more guard dogs. Any thoughts, or maybe other ideas that will defend your base while you're not playing? Electric fencing hooked up to generator? etc.

It would turn them into zombies not infected but I strongly support this, making zombies more of a threat seems like a great idea. Anything to more empthesis on PvE will down play PvP. -

Flares are the counter to night vission just so you know. If someone has NVG's on they can't even look at a town that has a flare in it. -

Same thing happened to me but with more than just the primary. I logged out last night in the "oil fields" of Chenarous. Upon entering the game today my M14, 6 DMR mags, my smoke grenade, my entrenchment tool, and my bandages were gone. I'm using the latest beta patch and I'm on day Z's 1.7.1.2 (latest as of post) update. I was up-to-date when I logged out and was playing last night. I'd like to note that updating the game didn't steal my weapons; logging back in the second time, on this update, stole my weapons. The Winchester in my backpack didn't disappear though, luckily. But I loved that M14, my favorite gun in ArmA2 T________T
