I have ran approximately 5 clans. Of which one was 300+ members at it's prime and endured 4 years in the ever changing video game world. Time spent playing DayZ: Been playing since launch Timezone: EST Time able to be dedicated to clan: 1-4 hours every weeknight and about 4-8 weekends Time spent playing ARMA II: since DayZ launch Special qualities/skills (ex, Photoediting, Videos, etc.): Decent graphic design...not the best...but I make due. My most recent clan just disbanded due to a mass exodus of members.

When I first started playing this game, I was entranced upon the idea of a large scale PVP with EVP elements. I've been playing FPS and PVP games since I was young and my parents could afford stable internet. Started with some Quake 2, then to military FPS's like the original MoH trilogy, then onto CoD's. I lead clans of up to 200 solid players for up to 5 years, of which was my first attempt at a clan. What I am trying to say is, I have been playing Dayz for almost 6-7 months and have slowly changed my outlook. I'm no longer looking for the run and gun, bag and tag lifestyle. I have been looking for a clan that accepts this, and have been searching on forums for some time. I am a very skilled scavenger and I collect items. It seems clans are all looking for the same thing now, a good gunfight. Regardless of the cost of the battle or the bounty of which it will score. I'm tired of fighting and shooting people just because I have a gun and have nothing better to do. I was recently playing with a clan that was all about the gunfight. They are great guys, fun to talk with, and the best team to have at my back if I walked into something bad. However, they didn't respect my playing style. I'm a scavenger, I collect items. I wouldn't play with them for a couple days because they were just man hunting...so I scavenged. They had no need for camps because they died so often it wasn't worth the time...so I camped alone. I was the only person on the entire server that earned his hero skin, because in 3 months on the server, I shot at 3 people...every one of my clan mates were bandits and admired at each others kill count...once again not KDR. I had my camp set up and had it secret from them so they wouldn't just go there to restock after death. I had 10 tents filled to the brim with items I collected with hard work and time...rare items to boot. I made a few friends in the server, publics of which I grew to trust...more than my clan because they were just blood thirsty it seemed. A week or so ago, my clan stumbled upon one of my friendlies and took him out...next to my camp...of which was well hidden. My friendly told them it was my camp and that they shouldn't touch it. They neglected this and continued to raid my tents, my vehicles, my camp. Upon questioning them about it...they called me butthurt about losing my supplies...truth was I was downhearted, but not upset, and certainly not pissed. If it was a group of pubs, I would have just moved camp and started again...but this was my clan, my friends, my "comrads" that did this and laughed in my face about it. Still thinking I was upset about my items, they mocked me. I was upset because they had no respect for my playstyle. I understand this game was made to be played as the people play it. THAT was the dream. I has SO many different application possibilities that we can not neglect only one means of play. I understand this, and If you want to run around and PVP all day...go right ahead. Don't force my hand into your playing methods, because I don't enjoy it. I will not force you into mine, because you dont enjoy it. What I am looking for is a group of people, clan or not. Who accepts ALL playstyles, and will not forcibly push me into a different playstyle. I'm looking for a scavenging group, one who picks stealth, and avoidance over gunfights. I'm looking for a clan I can build an actual camp in the mountains. I'm an experienced Dayz Chernarus player, a fantastic scavenger, and great company. I'm willing to fight when I need to, but more willing to hide in a tree and wait for a better opportunity. I'm excellent with stealth and moving around Zeds and people. I'm more so looking for a community that I can put in my memory banks as one of the greats of my life. Thank you for Reading this, I will be monitoring this thread for replys. Personally i dont like shooting people in the dayz world. I will fire on human for 2 reasons. 1) people shoot at me. 2) i see them exploiting the d/c to save thier ass. On thing i get really upset about is people teleporting. Disconnecting when you see someone joinanother server to get behind them and then connecting to the same server to pop up undetected.
