Rocket, I'm just another voice in the crowd. But, I have to give it up. Along with large amounts of others, we appreciate your hard work. The adrenalin rush when the mod touched such a large crowd. To the stress level involved with trying to appeal to such a large and diverse player base, with a minimal amount of funds. Many of us love you and your crew. "I got to give it up."

There is still a huge player base. I shut down my public server a few weeks ago, and went private. Private and a password is required. We have a constant player base that ranges from 20 to 40 depending on the time of day. Best group of people ever. No bullshit. I still mingle in the public servers, but I am just buying time until the stand alone comes out.

On two of our accounts we managed to go 43 "dayz". And that was just playing the survival game, and staying out of the main cities(except when we needed to restock our morphine supply). That all ended at the hands of a scripter. Having my 3rd account, (which is my smash and go character) made this possible. Otherwise, I would have died much earlier from boredom.

Contact the Admin of that particular server and let them know the persons name. If the guy is following you around, your best bet is to change your name and play on a different server. If he is following you around from server to server, he more than likely has you on his friends list. This is why changing your name is a good option. Well, I remember having to move some files around at some point. This was before DayzCommander, and may not be necessary now. I'm not entirely sure. Maybe someone else can chime in on that. But, you can definitely play with the free version of Arma 2 and OA.

We have 3 accounts in the house and one of them operates off of OA and the free Arma2 version. I have zero problems with DayzCommander, and it updates just like the other two do. I did have to go into the install folder and move some files around on that particular computer, but I can't remember which, exactly. I believe it was a simple YouTube video that explained which files needed to be moved around.

Absolutely. I've taken a bit of a break and only play here and there with a few friends(actually going to go in for a few hours when I'm done snooping around in here). The moment the standalone is available to purchase, I'll be grabbing a few copies.

Better get a headset. I kill, as well. If there isn't a response. Even if there is one, if you get all "fidgety", I'll more than likely drop you.

Just play! And tell the admins on the servers you frequent, that you love them. Being an Admin is so much more fun.

Haha. Yeah, the infamous clump of pine trees. I learned my lesson early on with those.

Hang in there mate. They drove my server to private status. And I didn't want to do that. Look for a private hive where you have active admins.

Hang in there, mate. Standalone is right around the corner.... There is a great team here. Great forums mods, and posters. Just weather the storm....

A few of my sniper friends do this on populated servers. they'll load a tent with empty cans, take the high ground and just wait. I've gone with them to observe.

Yes, I have access to multiple AS50's, and AS50 TWS. I don't enjoy sniping, personally. But, I have friends that do. Our scattered camps over multiple servers have everything(legal). Not to mention the crap-load of random camps we have found over the months and written down the locations. Every legal/illegal weapon/gear/suits you can think of. Some servers reset every 4-6 hours which completely replenishes these camps. We have tried emptying them then saving them. smashing them, etc etc. They always come back. We've actually stopped hitting the camps for weapons/gear and just play the way it was intended. It has made the game fun to play, again. I would imagine that just about everyone that visits these forums has access to one.

I wish I had known about this project before I pulled the plug on my server. Nice work!

Akamikeb is doing a decent job. He has to go with the flow. But, he is missing a majority of the lag deaths, etc.
