Alright, so this might be somewhat of a long story but i will try to keep it as short as i can. i was playing on RU20 one night ( again as this is the server i play on, till i get my own. ) i was playing around the NW Airfield for a while trying to find some good shit, i checked the whole area and found a gps in the firestation, so i decided to take my retreat after finding such a neat item, exited the airfield in a east ish direction and kept running for a while, i ran past a couple of forestish areas and yawned once, wich made me turn my camera in a slightly not predicted location, i ghasped slightly because i couldnt hardly beleve my eyes, in a wood ish area just a klick away from the NW Airfield there stood a bus, fully repeaired and ready to go, i approached it cautiosly, took me about 5 minutes until i shook of the worst feeling of trap i had, i checked it out and true enough it worked, although the gas was a bit short, nonethe less it worked. i decided to take it and try to randevouz with my mate that i was talking to in skype at the time, so i start to drive away and sure enough i get shot at, so in panic i just kept pressing shift and drove away far enough, i ended up in Grishnio, very close to the Gasstation, hit a roadblock thing and punctured both my front wheels, so i curse for a while since i dont have any tires, but i decide to come back later so i started making my way south west towards kamenka where my mate spawned, found a bike not far from Pustoshka ( just south theres a gasstation ), and a tire spawn in it, so i make a note of it and continue my jurney south west ish, a time later we come back there pickup the tire and start to head in the Grishnio direction hitting all the deerstands on the way, it takes us a while but we get there, my friend starts to try and hold of the zombies till ive fixed the bus, i manage to repair one front wheel, problem is, it still cant drive straight, so we scrounge around and manages to find another tire, and we get the hell out of grishnio, we drive a while in the general direction of the north east airstrip, when we come across a Tracor spawn, my mate climbs in and findsout it works although is leaking fuel, no matter we drive off in search of glory and all that, a time later we find us at the Factory between Polana and Orlovets, we know that a mate is logged of there so we decide to take a break and try to get him on, after logging back on a while later our stuff is still there so me and another friend starts searching for moore vheicles, beeing that he is in Berezino and im just north of Polana trying to findout how you re-fuel jerry cans he aint with me yet, all of a sudden an admin message pops up, "server restart imminent", so i think ah well i have time to get out of the bus, but no just 1 second after that the server shuts down, knowing this is bad i log back in, sure enough i spawn inside the bus and dies instantly, now i had a SVD CAMO, M9 Silenced, Alice pack, Gps, The kit (matches knife hatchet), map compass, clock. so i think to myself shit my mate is close so its not a problem he can pick it up for me and guard the bus, note this my mate is at the medical building in berezino so he is close by, he starts rushing towards my corspse as i make my way back ( spawned in kamenka... yay ) a little while later like 3 minutes i hear him asking, where my corpse is, and i reply probably under the bus, so he gets in and moves it, no corpse... its been 5 minutes ish since i died... my shit is gone, ah well i know that close to the factory i put an m249 SAW and a couple o mags so ill be fine, i make my way up there get that and picks up the bus and my friend, we start looking for a UAZ spawn or any vheicle nimbler than a bus, roughly 30 minutes transpires and we get constant redchains btw after the server restart, didnt have any before it. we get the sweet No message recieved thing a few times, but spawn outside of the bus... ( oh now it works thanks alot game ), somewhere between blacklake and willow lake we get another server message from the admin, another server reboot *sigh*, so we quickly jump out of the bus and the server restarts, when we get back on everything works just fine, so we decide to try and find a safe spot to rest for a while, we drive up to Krasnostav, and notice spawned zombies, so we decide to take a route around it, just on the field there... for no reason, no gunshot heard by my friend, no shattered windows nothing, no fences nothing .. i just die... 5 seconds later ... my friend dies... he notices he had -200.000 hp when he died, no weapon does that immense damage in one shot and lets the bus survive, so i rage inside for a while and decide to call it, i dont have a screenshot to prove this, but trust me ... its true, now i know i didnt hit anything fishy it was just a flat field, so it had to be one of these, Admin, hacker or a bug. now my message to you is, stay away from RU20 ... in just a short while the server has been plagued by all sorts of cheaters, bugs, and bad admins.. Hello i am the Admin of Lu 1337, i confimed a new hacker today. The fact that i heard 4 mortarshots before my mate died proves that it wasent legit, ill dig deeper into the logfiles or provide the full file if needed, but i know for a fact that it was a mortar, because we flew out of the cars, then a few seconds transpired we didnt die, and then 4 shots came ontop of my bro, so ill keep looking but im pretty sure its a hacker we are talking about. (Edit): Mortar is a Vhiecle not an item, so i m going to have to find spawned vhiecles.

Yes let it happen, get your evidence, then reboot the server, poof all the items tents and vhiecles are back, end of argument.

Let it happen get your evidence end of story, THEN you can restart your server to fix eventual disturbances. and this is at the risk of loosing evidence, since you always have your logs.

what i do, is that if someone is hacking i start my fraps, and then seek the hacker out get my proof then POOF ban, items in the game can ALWAYS be relooted. as i said, if you're going to be an Admin you need to be Prepared, but clearly you are not fit to be one.

well, right ... please close this server, this guy doesent know the first thing about beeing a server admin, do a little research next time 'Dez' and you know fully where your logs are, look at the active Server prompt and perhaps use a 3rd party server admin tool... there are plenty of reasons to restart a server, but ... this isnt one of them. OP you're welcome to roll with me on LU 1337 where you can freely loot and kill whatever you want, on the house... and if you manage to kill me then i eaven have a prize for you ;)

If you are looking for someone to team up with, for a more "safe" experience, id suggest LU 1337 Owned and run by me, i dont care much for gear and id happily team up with you if you wanted to, ive got a spare set of nvg's that could use a head to sit on, and i have an AS50 if you want it ^_^ let me know mate. exiztence654 on skype

Sorry to say, beeing a bandit doesent mean anything in todays DayZ they removed the skin wich was the only "perk" / "Badthing" depending on your view.

The minimum requirements where made before todays set of Drivers and Utilities where released, and therefor a set of optimisations might have enabled you to run the game :) Also OP you should see if you can upgrade your GFX Card, a 440 wont cut it in the long run :) i reccomend the 560 Ti, exellent card wich gives you atleast another year or two on your pc :) that is if you have the powersupply to run it :) Good Luck! - Althaluz

I have your answear right here good sir, it is Possible to use a set of normal NVG's with the FN FAL, so if you have NVG's equipped you should press N if not, you're shit out of luck :) Good day my good Sir!

Let me think... you have a point although at the same time, im a gamer, i play the way -i- want to play, and if that doesent suit some people, then fine find another server to play on, my server my rules... and im sure some people agree with me on this, since we all have our different playstyles and prefer diferent things, like for example... i wouldnt mind lights in the cities at night, id love my chat back, also, as an admin id like to be able to actually tailor my server to how i want other people to feel when they come on it, so they feel like .... hey this is a friendly server that i can call my home, with helpful people and a nice admin, and that would require me to have a chat, it also as someone stated ... makes it easier for ME to chat to my fellow players. yes yes, i know we have the "Global" announce channel, where we can announce stuff like server restarts etc etc ... but its a one way comunication, wow... i like to rant alot. point is, im putting -Time- ... -Effort- .... -Money-... into the equation, id like my fucking control back thanks rocket :) (Edit): I'd also like to add that the developers should keep their efforts pointed at the mod, and stay away from the server side of things, let the hosters do what they want with the tools you give them, sure there will be some abusers, they are easely blacklisted, just because you've lost control over your "mod" doesent mean everything will crash, oh and please do not think im whining or crying, i accepted the rules when i became an Host/Admin, i know what i can and cannot do, i just like to speak my mind. isnt this a multiplayer game?, what did i miss ? Chatting with people ... building a Comunity, creating your own server... do i need to say "Paying" for the server, they shouldnt block admins from doing ANYTHING to THEIR servers, at all. PERIOD:

I dont see why you arent allowed to choose your spawn location, would eliminate this issue and strain it puts on some weaker servers, also... why ? whats the reason ?, "oh but hey he can just run back and grab his shit if we ended up shooting eachother in the face" or ... well we want you to feel like Dark Souls, lost and always bla bla bla, makes no sense give us Fixed choosable spawns please.

When me and my two friends where playing last night on RU 20 the admin Armin keept spamming server wide soundfiles, such as a very creepy "I see you" file, when i first heard it i litterally shat my pants as i was currently on recon duty and had just seconds earlier sighted a Tango sniper in the forest just north of NWAirfield... then a minute later he executed another soundfile "Fortunate son" wich is a Song, it completely ruined my spatial awareness and thusly made me do some dire mistakes resulting in me narrowly escaping a bullet to my head by proning, now sure its all a game but just minutes later he repeated the same behaviour over and over, kept spamming the server with these sounds for hours until he finally logged, now im not one to point fingers or anything since i am unclear if this is allowed, it completely borks your experience and enjoyment of the game... its enough that we have to fight the Zeds, Bandits and the Enviroment... do we really have to fight the Admins aswell ??? Now ofcourse i have played on RU 20 for a while now and i know for a fact that this havent happened before, so heres my question to you, are the admins really alowed to spam serverwide soundfiles like this??
