I don't see why not. I have a M240, willing to do an even swap for the MK Mod. Ammo is not an issue with me, as I already have 5 mags. I won't be online for at least another 8 hours.

I encountered this situation just yesterday. The night before I had been tent hunting on a fresh spawn along Kamenka's western border while traveling north, I had lost my bearings, mapless when I logged in the next day. Running around, low on food, I heard a chopper. Decided against odds, as I had no ammo nor secondary to run towards the sound. Found the chopper sitting sitting at a gas station which ended up being Polana. Thankfully I went to the grocery store, found an enfield, plenty of food, and decided to return to the chopper. I found a guy with a bandit skin filling the chopper with gas. I took the high-road, got the drop on him, but didn't shoot. Stated I had him in my sights, asked if he was friend or foe. He was kind enough to pick me up in the chopper and drop me off at the NWAF, since I hadn't decided to kill him when I had the advantage. Didn't find much at NWAF, except a Remmy 870, which I used to defend myself against a NVG M4CCOSD bandit later that night when I was promptly teleported back to the beach upon login. Thank you chopper pilot for leading me to safety. wish I could remember his name.

Would you be interested in me trading you my set of NVG's for the magless SVD? Hacker ate my SVD and sidearm in an instant last night, but left my ammo and secondary weapon in my bag. I don't need my NVG's as I haven't played at night recently.

US 1335 was cleared last night around 8-9 EST. Had just acquired my first SVD camo, was all excited to meet up with my friend. Randomly in the northern forest my character lays down and dies (no blood loss or shock, etc). Buddy is still alive somehow so I make the arduous journey to get all my gear back. During this time me and buddy are given shock randomly at the same time. Over an hour later I get to body (server is down from 30 to 7 people now) only to have my again reaquired SVD camo, my M9 SD, and all my inventory minus my ammo just.. dissappear in my hands. Sadface. :( On that note, anyone have an ammo-less SVD Camo that they'd like to trade for some beans?

I agree with the OP. It's far too easy to roam the north as a fresh spawn and find the atypical clusterf$%ck of cloned tents full of gear. And not just one, but multiples of items. Doesn't stop me from looting the hell out of these places though. That being said, solving the duping problem, plus fixing the 'full magazine upon login', will drastically reduce the number of guns floating around. Ammo may actually be an issue for a change.

Krastnostav iirc. Literally farthest NE settlement. It's the equivalent of Balota airfield in the south, except less visited. No barracks, just two hangars and an Air Control Tower.

I have one. Not a big fan, accuracy is akin to shooting at something with a spitball. I use it out of necessity, to stay quiet, and that's about it. Ammo is rare, although I've found ammo regularly at Stary and the NE airfield (a bit safer)

I'd trade you my M249 with 600 rounds and AS50 with 3 mags for an SVD Camo and something like an M14AIM/FAL/CCO SD/L85 (I don't have a use to carry two sniper rifles on me) Dynameaux is steam name
