atleast you did provide some kind of evidence and i commend you for it..some admins ive seen on here are like fuck it its my way or the highway and i dont have to provide anything glad to see you tried to handle this right...just kinda turned into a bitch fest

not to be a prick here cause from the logs you have shown, the ban was justified cause it looked like he did DC to get an unfair advantage, but the logs do not match the story told by the person here on the forums unless you only provided the last time he DCed to get the advantage you did the right thing, just saying the stories dont match

not to be the barrer of bad news or side with anyone here but the logs that the admin posted and the eye witness account doesnt add up. the log does show that "Josh" did disconnect 1 time for about 5 minutes and re joined(which could have been to get an advantage) but the witness seemed to say he DCed 3 times. Something doesnt add up and since we cant tell who killed who and since the witness cant say for sure "josh" killed them. Since the Airfield is a highly sought after spot...someone else may have killed the two guys in the end. Like i said im not siding with anyone, just pointing out theres a difference in the logs and the testimony

ive never had a problem with it not working...thats why its strange to me...I just thought there might have been something in the game I had to turn on for it to work ...i cn atleast type in direct chat so I guess thats good enough

yeah i was in the direct channel...i dont know its weird cause my buddy did it and i could hear him. Im watching a stream right now with a guy using it and the person he was trying to talk to wrote in the direct chat that he couldnt hear anything...the streamers chat were telling the streamer to make sure that VION(or something like that) was on. So i dont know lol

I know you can use a mic on here and its the capslock button(i think) but when i use it i get the icon like im talking but no one can hear me...am I missing something here?

i dont see many anymore with the ones like @ACE and what not, I do see most all of them have the @hive though

i use six launcher to update Dayz... the question im asking is what are those other mods for like are they for better graphics or something. Im guessing they arnt to important cause I can go into day z servers that have like @ACE and play fine...im just wondering if i need those other mods or not or atleast somewhere that has a description of those mods

so i dont know if this should go here or the general section but when you load up arma 2 and look for Day z servers, down just above where it lists the players in the server, their are things like @dayz(which is the mod i know that lol) @hive @ACE and so on, some servers have more of these than others. Can someone please explain to me what the other ones do? and as a semi new player to arma and Day z, should i be looking to get these things?

So i was wondering if there was anyway to get two different toons that dont share anything in the mod. I have a buddy that i play with that just got the game over the weekend. We have been exploring a bit but he only plays for a couple of hours every night. So we log out together and I wait till he get on to log back in. Without buying another CD key for arma 2, is there anyway to play with a different toon? Im thinking no cause it would cause a very easy way to horde items and what not but i had to ask

i dont have a problem being shot by bandits or anything. I know im gonna die and loose all my stuff. What i do have a problem is with the people that are on the mic saying they are friendly or that they need help or what not just for you to go to them and then they shoot you. If your gonna murder me then do it, dont lie to me and act all friendly or in trouble then shoot when someone comes to help. Its pretty much made me shoot on site of seeing anyone

and alt tabbing isnt the reason so I dont know and im getting past the waiting for server response or atleast i think i am unless that comes after the recieving data bar where you can still see the people in the game so maybe im having trouble moving from the screen right after the recieving data bar....i dont know whats going on but im watching streams where people are getting into servers and Im not and i would love to know why

also could this be cause by me alt tabbing out while waiting for it to load?

so i just got the ARMA 2 CO package from steam..installed the mod...when i select a server it loads in then i get the recievng data bar...either i sit there and nothing happens or i get returned to the server list with no message or anything...anyone know why this is? bimp need help...havnt even been able to get into the game since i bought it2+ hours ago
