Admin and members of [AW] clan hacking and cheating their way around their server like they own the place... which they do. Not a proper cheat report because I can't be bothered. [AW] Blackstorm (admin) , [AW]Arrows97 and [AW]ODM have all been finding Dayz a little too hard and have resorted to cheating. They stole my chopper and left behind many bugged hero skinned copies of themselves, I call HAXXOR!

More than likely the hackers are having a worse time in real life than you. I know it's hard to swallow but I honestly cannot see someone who is happy with themselves not relishing a challenge, over hacking to grief people. Also to help you get through try and remember there is literally always someone worse off than yourself. You have a job, a cool PC. A roof over your head. You have an entire community of like minded dayz players reading and empathising with you, players who are also muddling through RL with their own set of problems. Also with regards to dayz, surviving successfully will leave you with nothing to do. Slow it down and enjoy the journey, the closer you get to full awesome gear the less you'll find to do.

Ye all that 'intelligent' shit definitely points to the decline of dayz. Are you looking forward to when it moves into beta too? Ok i'll play along. In my experience everyone is a survivor until they kill on sight or quit when they get bored surviving. Besides stomping around surviving is fuckin retardedly easy and exceptionally boring. Can we stop calling it an alpha. It's not like any other alpha ever. It's not been run , updated or played like an alpha. Rocket called it an experiment. Let's stick with that. As with most mods it is starting to run its course, the end is nigh. That isn't so bad as the results of the experiment mean a new game is coming out \o/. Another positive that's come out of this is that arma multiplayer is pretty cool and I know a lot of people have tried it thanks to dayz. If you haven't tried vanilla arma 2 multiplayer I seriously recommend it. So OP we all feel your pain but don't be sad the experiment was a success, well done everyone. Roll on ArmA 3 and roll on 'The DayZ' until then ditch your as50, grab a dinner bell and meet me in electro for some "hold the Pub!" death match madness.

I've yet to get a FAL , I was wondering why it is so favoured ? Obviously discounting the NVG scope is it that much better than other 7.62 semi autos ? I know IRL it is reliable and accurate, is that the only reasons in game or am I missing something?

I'm also pretty mad they made .50 bullets do MurderDeathKill in one hit with this latest patch. Also the flight model on th A10 is abit off, can we fix that next please?

It's not really sniping if you have to fire a bunch of times before you hit. It's just a gun fight through a scope at a range where your targets can barely identify where you are to shoot back. Just keep throwing lead until you hit something. "Ohhh I HAD to of hit him then!" no you missed - repeatedly

Theres always two ways to look at things. The way i see it, for this to work Players will have to be the most badass mofos in cherno to pull this off. Bandits will come from afar to kill ABB patrols you say? You mean targets with the best loot will come right to you, they will then shoot something revealing themselves. have you perfected the headshot on Duders picking up morphine? I think you need a new challenge , this seems like the biggest challenge of them all. Ofc the ABB will probably be a bunch of faggots with no clue, but if a clan of badasses decided to take up this challenge they would own m107 wielding bandit noobs all day and it would be fookin boss. New tactics will need to be developed besides some serious anti-sniping. Which is more fun than sniping makanov wielding fresh spawns. Also saving a nub by one shotting Zeds from outside of town with svd with a buddy covering you, will be great bandit bait and the RP of being the goody will be complete. The out of nowhere sniper saving peeps is a zombie movie staple after all. Bandits drop the best loot. Tbh tho without the bandit skins back it won't work , I just like a challenge so much I'll try anything.

Some people come and play dayz because it's a zombie survival game. Most people come and play dayz because they heard when you die you are fucked and it's all over, which is unique. Hence 1.38gazillion people flocking from other games to try it out. Most dying horribly and loving it. If you came for a zombie game you are looking in the wrong place, the zombies are a means to an end. That end being a pvp environment where you actually really really don't want to die, at all. You effectively cannot respawn. You have one chance to get that fire fight right. That is the realism everyone talks about, not the fact you have to feed yourself. The reason things are moving slowly is because dayz mod is also a means to an end. That end being having a mainstream game with the above pvp environment. Rocket is not trying to stop the hacks because this is on the arma2 engine, ever since operation flashpoint these BI engines have been dodgy broken things even after years of patches, you cannot polish a turd. The engine is a turd in the security sense. I personally loved opflashpoint and love arma too. So to give the op what he wants, well let's be honest I think he wants to play a zombie game. There are better zombie games out now and on the horizon. With regards to interviews rocket is doing , Imagine if he stayed at home trying to polish a turd(remove bugs and hacks) instead of looking to the future and trying to secure enough of the right kind of help to make the game we can all see growing inside the womb of this arma 2 mod. I'd say stop trying to remove bugs rocket and go find the developer with the largest balls so we don't have to compromise on the harsh rules this experiment has shown we all want.

Gut your wild animal kills quickly or they vanish. Leave 1 raw meat in carcus until you've got your crossbow bolt back, take last raw meat, carcus sinks after 2 seconds. Haven't gone near Zez's yet.
