My responses to your points; 1. Graphics. Yes, the FPS can be a little low, it depends on what you are running too though. I have a GTX560Ti, run everything on hight settings and I see no problems with how the game runs for me. Maybe you need to take a,look at your hardware? (friendly suggestion, not a mocking of your system) 2. The reason the zombies move like that is because they haven't got the proper animations for them yet. Rocket stated in his Rezzed Q&A that he just "moved the 'speedd' slider up" for the characters. This means that the subtle animation frames needed to make the zombies move quickly but smoothly just are not there at the moment. It'll get better, they are doing motion-capture stuff to build the zombie movements. 3. Well, I think that's a bit too generlised. The reason so many responses to posts from newbies are negative is because the n00b comes on, raging about how they "spent £X or $X on a game that sucks" with not clear idea of what they are actually talking about, and not research to inform themselves about the mod or it's stage of development. People are sick of seeing hatelful posts from n00bs who only sign up purely to post one comment raging about the mod, and as such those people deserve to get the bile spewed at them from the community who too kthe time to understand and appreciate what a gem we have our hands on here, and are grateful to be a part of the Alpha Testing Squad for this thing :)

Pfffft, learn to lose the zombies like the rest of us have. It's not that hard, plenty of tactics have been posted above on how to do it. Reducing the hunting time for unarmed players just makes it easier for n00bs, which is not something this mod is about, its supposed to be a frustrating, learn-from-your-mistakes-or-die-quickly type of game. -

I guess you've never heard of the mountain of games that are brought out and then require a day-one patch to be downloaded as soon as you start playing it? And yes, 2 days before launch, it will still be a beta. Otherwise it would have been launched two days earlier. -

Never had a sniper rifle in the game. I stick to the wilderness to survive. I'm a friendly player with only 1 player kill to my name, and that was a mate by mistake. Check my sig, and see my thread about running a friendly group. -

The servers did seem to be better for me last night than they have been for a little while, some of them have taken a long time to update to the latest versions. Suiciding to get to where you want to be is lame. Just play from where you spawn, what's the big deal, so you have to spend 30 minutes on your own instead of having a safety net to catch you from the get-go. That's part of the experience!

I'd say that if you managed to go 10-11 hours before you encountered a bug, then you had a damn good run! Regardless of whether it is bugs, glitches, hackers, zombies, or another player simply sniping you all the way from Cherno, things can and probably will always end abruptly - such is the nature of the game. You can die at any second, every second, it's part of the tenseness, rush, fun and scares all together. Have another go, and another, and another.... it's a different story every time! :) -

1. It's an alpha stage mod, so there is no "fix it now" they are still MAKING the thing 2. You shouldn't be hopping servers anyway so serves you right 3. Quite being a whiny bitch and either suck it up and play the game, or quit. Either way no-one gives a shit. -

135: Cherarus has some kind of time-warping abliity upon the real world, whole evenings dissapear without a trace.... 136: Equipping a crowbar while holding a hatchet makes the crowbar become a hatchet, and another hatchet spawn in your toolbelt... -

Suggestions are all well and good, but I'm pretty damn sure that Rocket has his own plans for the mod, It is his after all, and most of the suggestions on here are either not possible, not in keeping with the spirit of the mod, or just plain crap that someone *thinks* is a good idea because they're the one who had it. -

3DP:ON and 3DP:OFF means 3rd person view enable or disabled CH:ON and CH:OFF means crosshairs enabled or disabled :) EDIT: as for cars "and stuff", all servers will have cars either being used by other players or waiting to be repaired -
Well I'm sure Rocket's plan is that zombies will eventually be in different "stages" of Zombification - they'll start of looking like people, but angry and raging, over time they'll decompose and turn into the walkers who are less alert but still quick on their feet, then they'll decompose further into the hoppers, then finally the crawlers.

It's the fault of the player. End of. Being engaged in a firefight and logging out, moving around, and logging back in, is totally the player's decision, and it's wrong, cheating, and generally hated by anyone in this community who wants to play this game as a decent player. Just because the mod *can* do this, doesn't make it right or fair, and it's nothing more than cheating.

So, you missed your first murder attempt, fucked up your second, had to hop server TWICE until you got lucky and spawned behind him, then you STILL manage to screw up despite being 2 feet from him, got lucky that he didnt have a gun ready to blow your cheating arse out from under you, and finally manage to kill a player for no reason other than being an asshole. Yeah, go you, that just SO epic.

'Normal' zombies? There are a few different ones - civilians (plain clothes) usually have empty cans/bottles, sometimes a coke/pepsi. Military-dressed zombies sometimes have ammo, bandages, or tinned food. Having "super" zombies, I really hope doesn't happen. Watches, yes, I can see how a lot of the zombies would have worn a watch when 'alive' so that makes sense. But a compass, no, how many people carry a compass on themselves all the time?
