I have Steam Arrowhead and retail Arma2. I've read that when you launch Combined Operations in Six Updater it automatially searches for both .exe files. However, when I launch the game I get this error: and I get kicked from the server before I can join. What's going on?

My versions are different than all the servers

I installed ArmA 2 retail and patched it up. Added DayZ files. Installed beta patch. Six Updater did everything else for Arrowhead. When I try and join a server it no longer gives me an error but it stops at 'wait for host' indefinitely. Did I miss a step in the installation? Before I was using ArmA 2 free because my Arrowhead was on Steam. Do I have to connect the retail and Steam or does Six Updater do that>?

Ah, I just realized, would it be because my retail Arma 2(which I never use) isn't updated? If so, what patch do I need? There's a list here: http://www.arma2.com/supply/game-updates Do I get the Arma 2 1.11 patch or the combined operations?

This is what I've done so far. Reinstalled the game. Installed Six Updater, on 'profile' I selected "A2 OA Combined Ops (forced), made a new preset and installed DayZ mod. Joining a server through Six Updater, got the error, added Six Updater to Steam library, still got the error and kicked from server.

I try and join a server and it says it requires Casignz mod? I've just recently installed a bunch of Arma 2 mods (ACE etc), has this overwritten something?

This random spawning is cool if you're going solo, but annoying as FUCK if you want to meet friends.

lol at the 'realism' tards, this game is far from realistic, it's got ZOMBIES in it. What an absurd argument against grouping together. The fact these super zombies hear you from miles away means just one zombie is game over. Try and find a weapon? Tough, one zombie at least will be there waiting and you have nothing to fight it with. At least let me punch the fucking thing
