People who says you are a kid are a bit dumb. Its not raging by dieing against zombies or other player, the problem is die because of a glitcher/hacker/bug. This mod is so fucked at the moment, and whoever says it isnt, its just retarded.

Shit happens, its not probably about the server you had picked, you will usually loose all your progress randomly (I lost mine yesterday)

Cheaters are bored of spawning vehicles,weapons,nuking servers.. Now they find people and turn them into animals, specially if they are streaming.

In 10 real days, i've died 3 times and managed to take down many bandits (even If i wasnt able to loot them cause they just Alt+F4ed). Those 3 times i died, one was from a hacker that instakilled the whole server, another one when I logged in i just had no character, and the last, a server jumper spawned on my back and killed me. The rest of deaths (so many) are just randomly spawning on debug forest, floating on the airport, in the sea, etc... What I mean is that i know to survive, I know that the point of this game is playing it seriously like in a real zombie apocalipsys where u try to survive but this is NOT A REAL ZOMBIE APOCALIPSYS! this is a bugged mod and you will die by one of the so much bugs or hacks, and thats my tip for new players: This is not a real simulator, dont play it like it is, its the sourcecode of a real simulator but its far from being it, if you still wanna play then do it! Join us, learn how the game basics are and have fun shooting people/zombies in main towns, if you try to play this seriously you will probably rage and leave the game, give it a chance and play it just for fun untill its done. This is an alpha, true, but its not an alpha game, its the alpha version from a game mod (yeah, like zombies on cs 1.6).

Yeah but intentions are worth zero, we are testing a bugged mod from a bugged game, maybe its time to leave this and start working on a true game like some other companies are doing instead of wasting time on a engine that its about to be left to his own luck (if it isnt already). I would not blame if rocket says that this mod is gonna be totally abbandoned cause they are gonna start work on a standalone game, even if we have no dayz for months.

I have been testing the new loads some hours ago and they were ok, but now you cant even join any server. However, spawn timers are the minor bug/problem you will meet.

This is a mod, not a game, this is and will ever be glitched/bugged/hacked till a bigger dev team leads the mod into a standalone game. Give it another chance, maybe you have fun again but you can be sure that some other random glitches will end that.

That chat exsists, and also the blue chat, you just have to find some server that has it enabled. I play un EU40, wich has them working. By the way, people stills disconnects there, got 6/7 targets to disconnect before dieing some days ago.

Its not your PC, the mod is buggy, i got lags with i5 2500k and gtx570 with normal-high video setup.

They are server specific, btw, dont place items you might really need inside the tents (such as weapons, nvs, or other rare items), you will randomly loose them with any server restart/mod update/cheater or probably by just grabbing them pack>tent / tent>pack

The game as its programmed with zombies and resources needed, its easy, the most harder thing to survive is glitches/cheaters.

That sounds good, but honestly, dont try to do those things or you will waste so much energy/time one something that is not worth it. 3 days ago a hacker nuked the whole server, and today I logged into a server and I got the male/female popup, nice, my character was gone with apparently no reason. Not to ment the lot of times my character spawned on some random locations forcing me to suicide. Create a character, go cherno/elektro, grab a gun and have fun, thats my tip for new players, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, this game is extremely bugged.

They disconnecting, deal with it, will happen 80%+ of the times.

-Old engine wich will remain at least till 2013 (Arma3), think about how much time they are spending to fix some basic bugs... now think about how much time they will spend to transfer the whole mod into a new game. Im not saying they are doing a bad work, im saying they are too few devs for a big size project like this. -Hackers.. *Nuking servers *Watching cars/tents/players vehicles *Polymorphing DayZ streamers on chickens then killing them just for fun *Spawning weapons, illegal vehicles, etc -Tons of issues with character movements, servers not saving data when supposed to do, and loooooooong etc. You will enjoy this till your mind says STOP. A game like this claims for dedication of the user who is playing it, you can spend so much hours on doing so many things and there are SO MANY FACTORS that will probably ruin all your work. This wont work, not if BI doesnt claims the mod and works on it as an expansion of Arma3. Of course this wont work on Arma2 since BI doesnt give a fuck anymore on this while they work on Arma3, and as you can immagine the mod devs cant work on an antihack system, they just can ban the hackers they spot. (Wich of course wont be enough) Just a tip to anyone that minds about getting Arma2 just for DayZ, if you liked youtube videos, go for it, you will have fun but assume this game is totally glitched/bugged/hacked and its not even near of being fixed, dont buy it if you wanna play this in a seriously way, just get it for having some random fun.

Unpredictability of a hacker nuking the whole server is so lovely xD
