almost 6 weeks with vilayer and they have only brought my server down for mandatory updates, you may want to take another look at your perspective. This is an alpha game running on arma2 beta patches with a manual patch distribution system for even the hosts, that means they have to go get the patch and make it into an update for their servers manually thats alot of work hosts usually dont do for servers. Every problem I have had I have gotten resolved in the vilayer TS within 20mins. I am not a fanboy and despise bad service and love to punish companies that have it, vilayer is not one of those companies. So either you are an impatient drama queen that has nothing better going on in life so has to rage about redundant aspects of life or your genuinely misinformed about testing an alpha game and may want to take yourself out of the testing phase seeing as you CLEARLY dont understand it.

server admins dont have this power, any admin that teleports, spawns vehicles, script kills or thunderdomes are actually hackers, most of which say they are admins to give them more time to hack. Find the server info and confirm that he is an admin in the server or via a ping admin screenshot before making these claims please, it defames the server w/o cause. We can Kick, Ban and review logs thats it and of course shut down/restart the serv. love your little game you play though that is some wicked fun stuff and if it happened to me on my server i would say ty for the lulz (the trivia part not the hack).

dont pick up weapons you know arent in the game. If you do youll get kicked or banned. Do you honestly think it is conducive to a legitimate environment of gameplay to allow ANYONE to have hacked in items regardless of how they got them? People that pick up or have hacked weapons are 2 kinds of people - hackers or people prone to exploiting to have an edge ingame. Both parties are undesirables in legitimate servers. Want to have a ban free game? research whats ingame and whats not and never exploit, dupe or pick up hacked items/vehicles. I highly doubt rocket will come along and say "Oh yeah and hacked items are totally going to be allowed in the standalone, dont worry I wont let those bad admins ban you" more like fook those devious suckers ban away.

Hackers have been hosting servers and farming your GUID's for months... it also doesnt help when Battle Eye itself broadcasts your GUID every time you time out or get kicked for high ping. All they have to do is take a screen shot when it pops up or collect them from their logs. Find a low ping server with an active admin and teamspeak and make a home, server hopping is how you loose your GUID to hackers. Id be interested if many of these people that are being banned on the new beta also have played on lingor island as well. Any lingor island servers are not hive servers.

Vehicles parked off the map should be destroyed and respawned on server restarts

Ill go over the logs trevor and cameron, I saw you guys playing in the server and on 2 separate occasions you logged in and went in a straight line directly to other players and killed them or went directly to vehicles from spawning. This pattern usually indicates that people are using vehicle/player detect scripts so i ban when i see it happen more than once per session. I review the logs again and take a better look, you werent teleporting and usually those go hand in hand so i may have jumped the gun (lots of hacker lately and the live action dayz guys live on our server so its getting popular). I try to watch closely and bring down the server before it can write to hive, the kids that did it were harassing us in our TS and then some of our guys killed one of them and shit hit the fan, they are very banned already and I posted their IP addresses in 4chan as I do with all hackers.

during that time there was a hacker that was running around hatcheting people and dropping them, to stop it I reviewed the logs and banned the people online using hatchets repeatedly in the area, it was you and a player named K. After reviewing the logs more in depth I saw it was K and so have unbanned you, sorry for the inconvenience you should be able to log back on. The first time you were spotted at the camp cause there is actually about 20 of us using that camp from many serv regualr clans on the server, you were spotted because so few ppl were online and unkown to you all but 2 were in our TS together reporting locations. Then when I was message about the contact I came in to check camp and turns out your griefed it with a bunch of tents pout in obvious areas outside our tent zones. So as with many others I messaged you in global saying you found ours then we found yours, when you went back to your camp to get your UAZ and bicycle set upo to loot our base btw you were being tracked, and that you should pay nice, as in not grief our camp, or we would grief yours. Also your name changes were spotted because your score transfers to the new profile (and why would you change your name to come jack our base Jin i mean what a joke i mean asmoDJ i mean asmod i mean admin should not invovle). A valid exchange between the server owner whos camp you just griefed and a player that refused to come into TS even after I posted the TS addy in global chat for you after that exchange. If I was a dick I would have kicked you banned you or griefed you base as well, which I didnt. Most of the regular clans and players that frequent my server have made contact with us in TS and heard our fire policy and such as I said 20 ppl used that camp between 3 clans with 10 more regualrs joining the hunt for you until you come into TS and make contact with us. This is a valid function of the game and I have NO server powers other than kick ban and global chat so if you cant deal with 30 ppl hunting you validly for grifing their camp then coming back and killing them and refusing to enter TS then find another server homeslice cause your life is about to get VERY HARD and I dont cheat hack or script and I have the actual server logs to prove that so there sint shit anyone can do to help you. Either stay away from our camp and dont grief my bloody server with your tents and wire and come to TS and make nice nice with us or we make your griefing life hell in the most legit of manners. Im thinking you guys dont know anything. You do realize that there is easily 8 instances of teleporters and or vehicle spawn in per day, I review logs and ban anybody involved in illegal actions. When people spawn in illegal vehicles they remain until the server restarts, battle eye is so easily disabled that the server console doesnt even show the scripts being run, I have easily 2h spent per day on server maint and banning/log review and it is not always apparant that vehicles have made it in until I run those exact item IDs.... and arma has many many vehicles. I suggest you people join the TS if there any issues unless you have done this you haven done your due dillagence in reporting and you have no right to flame me in these forums. Hi there I am the server owner of US199 and havent set the restarts to auto yet due to the fact that I cannot provide warning messages to players before hand. Right now we do restarts on issues such as thunderdomes and obvious loot spawn issues with 5 min warnings in global. We also have a very active TS server where I have gathered quite a few of the regular clans that play and we do joint ops all the time. I am a very active in TS and in console watching the logs and the matrix stream by for hackers and teleporters. Our clan and others have made a rule that if you come in and make contact in TS, report location then we will report ours and have a no kill policy or at least a get down policy if its you. If your in TS your safe pretty much from us.... unless you refuse to post location then its FFA with no hard feelings. Come visit the TS its 24.68.136.91:9999.

Hi there I rember this well and can provide the logs to any devs that request them proving that we had people in the area when we were killed and they converged on that area and youwere in a guille suit on the roof of one of the apartments and got sniped by our as50 (Johnny Bravo always deadly). I suggest if you have issues ingame you come to our posted public TS instead of flaming us in forums 24.68.136.91:9999. I have logs proving my statements what do you have? also wth commands do we have? did you get banned? no did you get kicked? no did any of us death dodge no you lost us and blame it on alt f4. I have no ability to track people in realtime or even know who killed me without reviewing logs. Im tired of kids getting smoked because we coordinate on TS and calling hackzors, your no better than the actual hackers imo they fake ability you fake hacks and ability.

-Roll back to 95248 then w/o starting server -move to 95389 then again DO NOT start your server -move to 95417 - change your config to reflect 95417 and forced then start server - after it starts it will do a battle eye update from 1.67 to 1.68 then the server will go back down on its own - then restart the server and it works for me even though the restart still gives the gamespy master serv error works for me and the people in my hosts support TS, the problem is BE updating to 1.68 if it doesnt do that your serv will be blocked still. Also I still go the master serv error when i restarted again but i am up with 15 ppl in serv for 30min now.

My server just stopped itself due to this error and will nto come back up.

I def feel like rocket thinks admins are the biggest potential hackers, and w/o us server owners bringing up servers for people to play on this game wouldnt be shit. I understand alot of the rules because it is in alpha, but if these draconian insulting admin rules persist after gold I doubt most server ops will bother making new ones. We are the ones paying for you to have your time in the spotlight right now rocket, w/o server owners making server your game would not be able to facilitate this many people, so you would have less exposure, less data for testing and well more time on your hands. Show your appreciation (as we do by paying for the servers to host your great game) by taking care of the server ops and giving us some ACTUAL hacker protection tools other than banning us form even the ingame server control........

I kick people that use illegal items and ask them to remove them from inv before entering. Rocket only says not to ban ppl doesnt mean I want illegal items on my server.

there is a trick to placing them, but getting them to store items or not dupe/ respawn every restart is another issue. I guess them tracking ID's past 1m has nothing to do with actually making them work.

I have posted this on his forums as well but I figured I would post here seeing as rocket supports the launcher. Six launcher is crap. It uses 4x the resources it should, forces updates for a game in alpha and using beta patches, Is either too slow or to fast releasing updates locking people out of servers for hours at a time and has little to no functionality other than forced updates and server browsing (yes I know about the updater but I refuse to run that resource hog mess of crap). Please ask him to either get in line with every other launcher and allow selected updating, tell him to find a way to lower usage by about 80% and above all else DO NOT UPDATE OUT OF SEQUENCE WITH THE ACTUAL GAME. I have stopped using it awhile ago but am getting very angry with all the people getting locked out of my server because six launcher forces them to a new beta patch that isnt even recommended to use by my host. I will admit when all I need to do is update and double click something then six updater works fine (as long as I am ok with a prog using 4x more resources than it should) but this is an alpha and using beta patches you DO NOT force updates especially when the server hosts have to update as well. Your locking people out of servers and updating them to unproven, unstable patches by force. Change your prog or watch it get dropped from support after it screws over enough people on patch day again.
