Oh I understand, I am a server admin as well and know very well that it is almost like a game designed for hackers to be able to operate with anonymity. Thats why I said just ban him, posting his info in here kind of brings it into the realm of removing even that little control we have over our servers. Also I would ask your host to supply you with BEC (battleye extended controls) for your server, it has much better logging of scripts than the not logging of scripts or the false positive spam (i call it hide a hacker spam) from official script.txt files that dayz supplies.

rollback to 1.7.2.4 there is NO REASON to have .5 running other than "popularity". Tents put down in .4 work just fine using the restart trick (and by fine i mean they save and the ruin my serv by duping everything in them every restart). I really dont understand why rocket doesnt disable the game breaking things like GFX artifacts (just dont load the items that cause it) and Tents (disable them all together for everyone until they stop ruining the game via duping or the opposite, wiping out your supplies). I mean would removing tents break it more? I think not at least people would have to ACTUALLY survive then instead of just dyding and getting re geared at their dupe city.

I would just ban him, if you post in here and publish his IP or GUID you are expected to supply a measure of proof in the form of logs, screens and or video. If you dont have any of these things I wouldnt publish the suspects info.

Is it possible to wipe out your current map and reload a fresh one? I use vilayer and cant see and dont have access to mission files, also dont want to delete folders if they wont re-download. Would be very nice to be able to wipe out all the tents, fortifications and vehicle spawns to at least curb the dupe fest my server has become.

Oh I planned on putting it in the MOTD and 80% of the regulars use the TS so it will be easy to let everyone know and I would give a weeks warning. If rocket doesnt have the sense to reset servers for 1.7.3 I will do it myself at that time.

our policy is to kick after asking you to remove the illegal weapon from your inventory, if you were banned it means you re-entered with it and it is a temp ban for 1-3 days depending on if you were spotted actually using it or not. Try back in 24h and youll be able to join. Your not in the ban list Kryo so it means you were only kicked with a "remove as50 tws" reason, have you tried to get back in?

Death dodging is an exploit, exploits get you banned. Hate speech or real life death threats are not in the realm of rocket to decide whether they are ok or not, that is the laws to decide and they say I can not only ban them but report them and have them arrested. /facepalm at kids that dont know the law.

since the standalone will be licensed by bohemia rocket will have access to the hard code of the engine and can prevent this stuff from happening on the engine level mostly with BE as a back up for new attacks. Arma2 is a game that is meant to allow scripts, dayz is not and does not have the rights as a mod to alter the hard code. Patience itll all be over soon.

Imagine an anti cheat program that broadcasts GUID over global anytime someone times out or gets kicked........ Imagine an anti cheat program that kicked every member of a server THEN refused to allow them to any other server (even though its a local kick) and you were forced to blank a script file to get it to work. Imagine if said anti cheat program had to adhere to the same false advertising laws as the country it operates in, they would be broke from law suits inside of 5 min. Get your shit together BE your RUINING rockets game with your inability to stop even the most basic of scripts and when these "legal grey areas" get resolved on the net youll be in a world of lawsuits w/o shit for proof your program actually does what it advertises.

yeah the locality events are hive packets your not allowed to see I think. It is to stop us evil admins from exploiting harder than the bazzillion hackers that are obviously ok to have. They have restricted the logs so much 95% of scripts dont even show up in the log and when they do they are mostly false positives. I highly doubt this borderline insulting cheat protection and server rules will make it to the standalone, I mean who will buy a game and pay to have it hosted if they are considered dirty cheaters by the game itself.

It usually happens when servers reach 30-40 players, if a server is under that hackers usually dont bother. I have taken to stopping my serv for 10-15min when there is a server kill or mass teleport, I find it helps the ADD script kiddies loose interest and move on.

every single tent on my server dupes all kinds of crap I hate it, its ruining the very purpose of this game and is next to impossible to stop because you cant make everyone "save" their tents every time they take stuff out when it even registers the save. I say either fix tents or disable them all together until you get them working right, they are as bad as the hackers for unbalancing the game. Same with the GFX glitch... why not just remove the static dead zombie and barb wire until you fix it? why just leave this broken stuff in the game when it is SO EASY to remove and would not break the game to do so (tent being disabled would be a huge blow but worth it to force legit gameplay).

Yeah its not our camp I put out the word I am going there myself and deleting them myself I have also PM the people whos camp it was and warned them not to hold hacked items in tents. thank you for the heads up.

thats not our camp thats 2 other peoples camp that arent in our group so enjoy. and again you seem to be forgetting I HAVE LOGS THAT SHOW EVERYTHING and can provide them to devs so please stop making baseless claims. seeing as there is so many baseless claims and accusations from people that can be proved wrong I am asking a mod to review and lock this thread.

lol that is me and my friends camp I have banned many things from being in any of the tents, those being wire kits - sand bag traps - satchel charges - and hacked weapons> I go threw every tent daily and look for illegal items and remove them and save the tents if there was any (which there never has been cause we are good people) So no I have all the logs any dev may need to prove that we are legit and that you and ur bromo friends entered into my server with TWS and proceeded to go directly to players and kill them. You may think that if you dont teleport you wont get caught but thats not true when ur dumb ass travel across the map to go directly to a player and kill him. You friends with those dupes that we banned for massive scripting and server killing and then banned from our TS for trolling us. Or your the guy that came into my server for banning his friend saying he is a mod from this site named Griff (who I spoke with) and he is not a mod just a lying little kid that has no power of his own obviously. I love how you people exploit and hack then try and make some plausible deniability story never realizing that the logs show EVERYTHING. The real moral of the story is not to come into my server with hacked weapons and player detect and grief my shit when the server is watched 24/7 or youll get banned. also please search the forums there is a thread where a person found our camp killed us all and became our volunteer public enemy and we all had a blast. And is banning for exploiting ie: alt f4 against the rules? no it is not. You may be banned for exploiting period. I am tired of little kids that think they have a say in the rules laid out by rocket. US199 is my server and if i find tents duping satchel charges they will be destroyed, If ic some dumb ass running around griefing my server by destroying all building every restart he will be banned, if i see people obviously leaving to another server and then coming back into attack people from another flank you will be banned, if you exploit by alt f4 you will be banned, if you grief with wire kits and such excessively you will be banned, if you use illegal scripts you will be banned, if you spam markers for stupid reasons you will be banned. Basically if you step outside legitimate gameplay and into the realm of exploitation I will ban you. If you have any problems with this and you with to think nagging a forum mod is a form of power for you then please tell him to review these. If he says I cant bann for any of these things I am stopping my server and not hosting one because I am here to play a legitimate survival game and if I cant do the bare min to keep it that way I am not playing. So please children go try and survive legit and when you find out you suck at that and are total fail, go play another game dont resort to exploits and hacks and expect the devs to blacklist a server for combating you. ,F4ll3N
