love ur work rocket, but you should know we dont care about dogs as long as there are hackers and gfx glitches. If you fix the hacking and artifacts we be super happy then you can take your time with "content" please please please just fix the artifacts at least (by fix i mean remove the friggin static zombies) I dont even play anymore because I cant farm for better gear due to NOT BEING ABLE SEE in any of the military areas. prioritize rocket, dogs and content = priority 1 - artifacts and hackers = priority 10

I felt this way as well, so much so that I got my own server a week later. Then we got hacked into oblivion, our tents duped so much gear despite our efforts to destroy them and then my host "accidentally" deleted my server and we had to start all over with a new name so we now only pop upto about 10-15ppl and still get about 10-15 hackers a day. If you love this game now, stop playing until rocket makes his stupid puppies bark right and releases his next patch cause right now the game is unplayable in a survival sense. If your just looking for an open world deathmatch with no need to survive then your set... or should go play arma2.

You need to input the rcon password into the rcon client not your login password. You are STILL trying to "login" threw the game via the chat menu and that just isnt useful for anything but using global chat. NEVER use the server control panel ingame its useless and thats what your fooking with that wont ban anyone, cause it never has worked in dayz. goto your config and find your rcon password, use that to login to your rcon client and issue bans from there, or add them manually in the bans.txt. 15y my ass.

I use HFB and you can ban just fine, if your talking about the server control ban that has never worked for Dayz. Use the BEC or the amra2 Rcon to ban, or manually add them to the bans.txt.

I say players need to be punished for false reporting myself, you flame a server with false reports you should be banned perm. What reason do these negative nancys have to stop them from throwing around baseless accusations (the locked server you dont need to report the hive knows and it is recorded and most hosts prevent it from happening). Dont you kids think playing the game is more fun than making a "look at how hard i snitch list", get a clue the hive knows all.

there are 3 kinds of people that have hacked weapons 1. The hacker 2. The exploiter (person willing to exploit to get a leg up on legit players) 3. teh noob. 1&2 are undesirable to legit gameplay (which we as admins have the right to demand) and 3 would do as the admin asked and drop the weapon and come back in. I fully agree with PM asking to remove hacked weapons and if no response then a kick and if they come back with it I give a 24h ban, dont like it find somewhere else to exploit.

its been removed from the game and is considered a hacked weapon. I kick people from my server asking them to remove it and come back, there are no hacked weapons in legit gameplay. The banned by dwarden is coming from a posted ban list, dwarden is a bohemia employee and if he added you to a community ban list your in a world of shit. Its only some servers because admins need to manually paste in the community list to use it, the default is just an old ban list from back in the loki days. I suggest you contact the mod in the community ban list forums about it.

there will be no solution to the hackers until the standalone me thinks. I mean rocket could just close out any client side script access and stop any banned weapons from even being allowed to exist on servers let alone be spawned in but that would require massive recoding of the engine me thinks and this game as a mod isnt allowed to do that, as a SA it may alter the engine code all it likes. I would wait until the SA to "expect" things.

It doesnt matter how long of a post you make about it, its not realistic, it would make it VERY easy to get water, its not realistic, its NEVER going to happen, Because its not realistic, why the hell would you think it would? No one but you and the low sec kiddies would want it to happen, game is made to eat low sec kiddies not design game mechanics to keep them around. sorry for the hate but this game needs less dumbing down and harder mechanics not more pandas in kung-fu outfits.
