  1. I'm not saying there isn't enough, but I've had a few ideas that could come into DayZ without bursting the 'relevance and practicality' bubble. There are two alternatives to painkillers that I think would be OK to add into DayZ.

Morphine Syrettes (WWII era). Due to being obsolete, the syrette should be rare and maybe found only in the rag-tag hospital up North. I'm thinking maybe finding them in a small container like a box, which can be emptied, similar to boxes of ammo. Emptying would take one syrette from say a five syrette box and place it in the hands/inventory of the player. To administer, a player would go through the same process as the Auto-injector (RMB then click use).

Another pain alternative is has been recently introduced to the US military (but I think it still can be in the game). It is oral transmucosal fentanyl citrate. It is a strong painkiller adminstered for injuries that happen during combat. It comes in a box of maybe 10 (will vary from supplier to supplier) and is wrapped individually in a foil-type material.

Different degrees of pain would probably increase the need for different drugs and hopefully it will be implemented.

Also it is to be noted that these drugs are habit forming, addiction could maybe cause you to lose health at a slow-fast rate depending on how dependent you are on the drug (determined by how much you use it), decreased health increases infection rates and whatnot.

    Plz give opinions.

Here is a 650w SeaSonic PSU, gold rating. PSUs are something you don't want to fuck up, because if they do, there goes your entire computer.

SeaSonic, Corsair, Antec are all trustable brands.

I seriously doubt a single GPU needs 750w to run, so I assume that is just to be sure, and make room for everything else (CPU, fans etc).

Most GPUs only need 100 - 250w, but it is always good to have a little more than you need.

Many thanks for the reply dulix11. Unfortunately, the PSU you suggested is a bit out of my price range, I am looking for something at about $130 AUD tops. The TX is about $140 and is currently what I am looking into getting at the moment.

  3. I am planning to upgrade my GPU to a R9 280X from HIS Digital. (http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-772.shtml)

Currently, my PSU is currently shit, and I need a new one. Since I have very little experience and knowledge of PSUs, I am looking to you guys for help. I live in Australia so please keep that in mind as you make suggestions.

My Current Specs are as follows:

    CASE: GIGABYTE GZ-M1

    MOTHERBOARD: GIGABYTE B75M-D2V

CPU: i5 3570 w/ Stock Intel cooler and nil overclock

    GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon HD7850 2GB GDDR5

    PSU: 650W rated ~70% efficiency.

Please cast any opinions freely, be it about my choice of GPU manufacturer or any other things about the build. As I have little experience, all advice is appreciated and noted. Thanks in advance and please help!

  4. I think weapon parts should be interchangeable parts like barrels, optics, muzzle attachments, stocks. I propose a 'military toolkit' or something else so things like ironsights can be removed and replaced with optics or other compatible ironsights. Attachments have to be very rare to find on their own and only in military areas. Most optics will come from weapons already haveing them attached eg. M4A1 CCO. I think there should be EXTREMELY rare SOPMOD kits found in military locations containing one attachment for each picatinny rail exclusively for M4s and Mk16/17 rifles. SOPMOD kits would contain different attachments for any special operation, suppressors, lasers, ACOGs, Underbarrels grenade launchers, foregrips, flashlights, night vision scopes, you get the idea. As I mentioned previously, you can only change weapon parts with other weapons, looted accessories, and kits if you have a 'military toolkit'. Maybe you can expand on my idea?
