Upgrade to 1.7.25 in Dayz Commander won't "stick"
dotjosh replied to Ajvkorn's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Six is going to put you on the version recommended by rocket, so if you update your version in commander and then launch six and let it update.. it could revert things right now. -
i hate playwith six.... playwith six hate thread

Be sure you are on the latest version of DayZCommander (0.9.0.67), and then downgrade to DayZ version 1.7.2.4 and upgrade back to 1.7.2.5 to force a consistency check of your game files. -
If your router can handle it, in DayZCommander.. and you can increase the Max Connections in the settings panel.
-
Commander will not automatically apply anything for you, it lets you be in control of when to update and which version you want.
-
Make sure you install the latest version of .net 4.0, also I pushed out a new version an hour ago that fixes a crashing bug that might help you.
-
Mmmmm what problems?
-
If you provide more details on what's not working, I could try to help.
-
Haven't received 1.7.2.5 :(

yeah, you can upgrade/downgrade versions automatically through DayZCommander now. -

If you grab the latest version of DayZCommander (as of about 10 minutes ago).. you can now install any version of DayZ you want, including 1.7.2.4 -

Problems with DayZ Commander updating to 1.7.2.5/
dotjosh replied to Bandora's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Can you make sure you delete your @dayz mod directory before trying to do the install? Something in windows (file/folder permissions, or read-only settings) is preventing dayz commander from overwriting your existing mod files. -
I'd love to know what problems you are having with DayZ Commander, it helps make the product better.
-
It should be working now, be sure you are on version .64 of commander.

The poor interwebs is taking a pounding.
-
You guys destroyed the first mirror.. I'm working on setting up a second.
-
This should be fixed now, I switched commander to use my own mirror for DayZ mod files. Enjoy.
-
Are you on commander 0.9.0.62?
-
Just pushed a new version of DayZ Commander.. this will make the DayZ download happen over my mirror instead of theirs... should be faster.....
-
I've updated commander to work with the latest DayZ download format.. (should fix everyone's issues)

Server difficulty level?
dotjosh replied to martin_hjerpe@hotmail.com's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I'm sorta, kinda, a little bias... but DayZCommander is your best guess at figuring out what the server is running, without actually joining it. The difficulty is only the default for those settings, any one of them can be overridden. DayZCommander takes both of these into account. Starting with the difficulty setting, and anything in the server name (3P:OFF, etc).. will override that. If only the server info actually reported the truth.... Josh -
Dayz commander erasing recent and faves...just me?
dotjosh replied to Slyguy65's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Sorry to hear that, I'll see what I can find. -
only 500 servers appear in server browser
dotjosh replied to tarquinbb's topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
It never tries to update the dayz/arma files automatically, all updating is optional. -

Yeah, I'm not sure what's going on with gamespy, but I've been able to slowly extract all of the servers and host the list myself. If you want to see all the servers, I'd suggest to at least temporarily switch to DayZCommander for launching.
