Open your DayZCommander settings panel and make sure you aren't overriding any of the directories. Overriding is rarely needed.... it'll autodetect for you.

I'd restart your computer first and run the update with commander before anything else. Just to be sure that you don't have any files locking your install directory.

You gotta tell us what's happening exactly. What are you seeing that makes you think it's not installing?

I do know the vilayer.com lingor server's are connected to a single vilayer hive... probably your best bet if you are wanting to hop between several and still have the same gear.

Yeah, it's a 500mb archive you gotta download, not always fast... I'm working on what I can do though to improve the installation speed portion.

Sounds like you are trying to join a lingor server... commander will launch the appropriate mod depending on what the server is.

Did he run Arma2 and Arma2 OA manually before starting commander?

Whats the IP:Port of your server, and full server name?

Just to clarify for everyone. The ping and responsiveness is all relative from your computer to each individual server. Whether it's your local computer, network, internet connection, or the server itself. One of those is going to be the problem.

Why do you think it was DayZCommander's fault in the first place? All of our servers are up that send you the server list within commander... so I'm not sure what's going on, on your machine. Josh

Start off by filtering wrong arma2/dayz versions out, then I would switch to Dayz 1.7.2.5 and Arma 95883, as they seem the most stable at the moment. And then read more on the faq http://www.dayzcommander.com/faq#StuckWaiting

Out of all the launchers for DayZ I've ever created, DayZCommander is my favorite.

In the settings panel, let us know what each of the three directories points to.

Are you saying the arma2 update or the dayz update withing dayz commander?

It downgrades because you launch six launcher.. which puts you back on the recommended version automatically. Commander will not change your version without you knowing.
