Extremely strange glitches concerning packs and weapons.

Upon trying to find a working server with the new patch, then finally reverting to the old patch, I have found that not only my pack is missing, but my handgun is as well. This has happened to all of my friends too. Anyone else experiencing this issue? -

Have downgraded to the old patch. Am still getting the Wait for Host screen on every server. -
I always hit a few houses and a farm building, then immediately head north to deer stands. If you can get a hatchet in one of the barns/industrial buildings your set.

You can likely run Arma on your mac, but you need to install windows. Not to be a jerk, but if you really want to get into PC gaming get a PC. It will make your life much easier.

I just set up my first camp and vehicle and really hope that doesnt happen to me anytime soon. I know it's an eventuality but I would like to have it for a few days.

I had the same problem finding those loot spawns when I first started. As said, it is where Dingus describes.

The new patch makes the zombies super-human in their ability to see and hear you. While ramping up the difficulty for experienced players, it makes newer players confused and frustrated. I would recommend reading through the forums in the new players section for tips and tricks before going balls to the wall. Also, playing at night makes it MUCH easier to avoid zombies.

Agreed. Once you have canteens and the essentials for hunting/cooking, you do not need to visit towns anymore. As far as that giant beacon of a weapon is concerned on your back, I would recommend picking up another weapon in your backpack with 1-2 mags for self-defence. When you feel like sniping, you can just swap them out.

Never under 60. Your FPS will skyrocket once you install that new GPU. I'm running a GeForce GTX 580 Lightning and I can fly around Cherno with 10,000m visibility without FPS drop on Vanilla Arma2. -
