What Graphics Card Should I Choose?

Wow, I leave for a few hours and I come back to this? :P Well I've read all the posts and this is what I'm absorbing: the 560 ti will do the job but the 6870 is much better so I think I have a gypst of things. Thanks guys:p
  6. So, I'm building my first computer and I have most of my specs picked out. I just need to know what would be a better card. I'm looking to play games like this, CoD5 (custom maps), Left4Dead, maybe even battlefield. I'm looking for minimal fps lag on a fairly high resolution on fairly high settings. I have narrowed it down to these cards: >http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130652 >http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130770 and this >http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814150521 any suggestions? thanks :)

    GeForce GT640 Video Card

Hey guys, i'm building a computer and I want to know if this EVGA 02G-P4-2643-KR GeForce GT 640 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card is good enough to run this, COD 5 custom maps and other video games fairly decent with hardly any fps lag. For only $110 it seems like a steal, Just let me know what you guys think :D link is right here: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130795

Is My Video Card Good Enough?

I've been looking around the internet to find a relatively cheep gaming computer, but I realized it is most wise to build my own. My graphics card is an NVIDIA EVGA 02G-P4-2643-KR GeForce GT 640 2GB 128-bit DDR3 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card and I need to know is this good enough to run pc games with little to no fps lag (I have invested in an i5 3.1 GHz processor) and will it be compatible with this motherboard (BIOSTAR H61MGC LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard), thanks for all the help, as it is considered and appreciated :)
