ive spent about 80% of my time on DayZ driving around in vehicles zombies do not spawn if youre on/in a vehicle edit: if you see zombies in a town somebody else is there, so you should head up to the closest hill and search for the +1 murder :D

people prob defending their camp during the day since they saw this post. :(

1) if youre on a bike, atv, or ANY VEHICLE IN THE GAME zombies do NOT spawn. people could just grab a bike and head anywhere they want untouched. also bikes are silent and have the second fastest offroad speed 2) you can outrun zombies np, there are like 3 hatchets in every hanger / barn and guns in every school / supermarket. weapons take all of 5-10 minutes to get once you start off. definately do not start with a gun, if some guy just dies then gets a lucky respawn nearby he could just come back and know the general area of the guy that killed him was (closest thing to kill cam). and the FFA DM by noobs on the coast... lol 3) tents take up 3 slots... wtf? and its called inventory management, not to mention every school / supermarket has tons of these to upgrade. 4) no safe zones, no failure zones you want one? make it yourself and defend it. this isnt WoW

permanently bannable no if the server admin gets butthurt, searches through the itemlog and finds it; he can ban you from his server.

somewhere around here i believe were moving on to the next server, chopper is up north around pobeda if someone wants to go looking for it if it hasnt been found yet.

one shot kill holy ROFL that shit (and the DMR since theyre the same gun) gun takes 2 to make them go unconcious and like another 1-3 to kill. majority of the time the person will get hit once and run away / into a building / around a corner bandage themselves and get away.

weve been having problems with our backpacks turning into older versions (still carrying our new loot though) that we had. (have a coyote backpack with say 4 cooked meat turn into an alice with 4 cooked meat) and the vehicles might come back on next server reset if thye wernt stolen.

didnt read thread but did you save the tents? cause if you didnt they all come back with the gear they had on server reset

what gear is it...? if its basic military crap then yeah he prob didnt need it

is this stuff supposta be good or hard to get?

cause their winchesters and enfields cant make explosions, so explosions dont exist in DayZ

saved to the server itll be where you left it on that server only. sometimes the server fucks up on reset and doesnt spawn it back in (itll be back after the next reset though) and make sure the chopper was in 1 place for atleast 1-2 minutes before server reset to guarantee its there when the server comes back up.

were logged off and on the other side of the map 6am atm :P also i cant fly and my other friend.... "watch out for the power lines" sucks the video cut out before the crash

we fix up the chopper, fly around and fuck up peoples camps / tell the pubs where theyre at. weve had 4 choppers so far, 2 were destroyed by hackers, and the other 2 are on these servers. and hacked / duped items are still allowed to be used

and then you have non pvp gather all the loot you want then head out servers just for you and you can look through the item logs. just look for the illegitmiate items and gear. or if you want to make it real easy put it on recruit find out who it is ban him, restart on vet or w/e what we had our server admin do back on our old server

the small boat? it spawns there but is slow as hell might also be the fishing boat which is 100x worse than the small boat

+1 more dead guy that QQs and leaves the server = higher survival chance opens up the area so all the food can be mine = higher survival chance np

and the worst part about it is killing people /zombies with the chopper doesnt even give you +kills so in the end slaughtering people with the chopper is just meh w/e
