  1. Clearly you've never heard of the Kardashians
  2. Ban on sight? Certainly works too but not quite as fun or challenging.

    Book Club

Was expecting something like Edgar Allen Poe or some other macabre writing styles. Dare I say goosebumps?
  4. Always wondered why they made vehicles as such a pain to acquire in this mod. Not only is the mod unstable to reliably look for the parts in time before the usual server crashes/resets/etc. but I'm fairly certain the virus doesn't affect tires, gasoline, and engines. Also this is ARMA 2, one of the key points of the games engine capabilities is large maps for vehicle and infantry use.
  5. Sounds more frustrating than fun.
  6. Think that's the purpose of the crashed military Huey. Seeing some wrecked tank or URAL logistics truck with lootable equipment would be cool too though.
  7. Climbed one of those radio antennas over looking Chern. Hit B to get out my binoculars and realized my guy was doing a little dance. Had accidentally hit V and I fell to my death.
  8. Found a downed Huey between Chern and Elektra. Someone had apparently tried to repair it and left some supplies scattered as well. I attempted to refuel it how ever it was leaking any I put into it. I went scavenging for supplies to make repairs and heard someone else come across it who wanted to help repair it. I approached from the north through the hills and forests over looking the open field and Huey and saw the friendly examining the Huey. He was shot from the distance by a bandit toting a CZ, his partner with a AK keeping watch. I quickly took some cover among the trees and observed what they were attempting to do first. They began their vain attempts to refuel the helo, but also realizing the fuel tank was damaged. I watched them scavenging through near by building losing sight of the man with the CZ who went towards me up the hills. I spotted the AK bandit and took two shots he made a run for it over some hills. Losing sight I went after the sniper, he heard the shots and held cover behind a tree. Being too close to put his CZ to use he drew his revolver and jumped out of cover to take shots at me, how ever he was put down with two body shots and one to the head after he passed out. After scavenging the sniper bandits body I searched out for the AK bandit and discovered he had made an attempt to sprint for some cover but bled out a few meters away from he was initially shot.
  9. Make flashlights more common to find. Not sure why it's easier to find an assault rifle than it is to find flashlights.

    Remove NVGs.

I don't have a big problem with them, just have a problem with bandits that have them and log off the moment they are at a disadvantage.
  11. How about give everyone a military flashlight to start, it's pretty low illumination wise so it's not a advantage in any extreme sense. Have it take up one of the utility slots rather than the pistol slot.
  12. Random docks from what I've seen. They don't seem to be 100% spawns and so far seen that crappy dingy and a larger fishing boat. Takes like 3 jerry cans to put the fuel meter to about 80% as well so not too hard to maintain.
  13. That boat twas the mistress of the sea, full of holes and stds.
  14. Every car I came across that players haven't worked on yet, required Gas and four tires. I got a crappy boat working though. Problem is the boat is slower than a player running and there's nothing really to go to on the boat, the outlaying islands are full of nothing or zombies.
  15. I love the large amount of zombies....spawn too fast though. Cleared the South medical facility under balota (how ever it's spelled) airport. Went around checking tents, then more zombies phased on top of me like they just were beamed in off the Enterprise.
  16. I always did think one of the more amazing parts of the ARMA engine was the ability to allow vehicles to be used in the massive scale map provided. So I have to agree it's a bit disappointing to see a lack of opportunity to see them used in such great mod. I understand the need to make it difficult to acquire one or placing them in dangerous locations with added maintenance of the vehicle. Unfortunately I think it was taken too far when assuming that the moment a Zombie like out break occurred every car and vehicle became obsolete. Pretty sure it was a virus not an EMP that wiped out the country side.
  17. Happy Birthday, thanks for the update.
  18. Kind of frustrating to try to get vehicles in this mod. For how unstable it is and the buggy nature of inventory management, the benefits of spending hours fixing a vehicle just for the server to crash is not very enticing. Need to either get rid of needing to fix tires, engine, and glass or really simplify it a bit more. Proposal: Only requirement to get a car running Toolbox and Fuel. The amount of damage the car has sustained will determine how much time it will take for someone to fix it up. Remove the need to carry around tires, scrap metal, engine parts, windshield, etc. (exception being Jerry cans). I'd say use this as a temporary thing until the mod is much more stable to allow for elaborate parts hunting and vehicle repairing with out a worry of sever crashing before you get a chance to put it to use.
