After thinking about this, how about changing the 3rd person camera to be right next to the head, somewhat like in this picture: http://cs1.gamemodding.net/posts/2013-04/10075200_1366090604_gta_sa_2013-04-10_10-26-49-29.jpg Then there wouldn't be that big unfair benefit, but you would be able to see your own character. -

I don't really know about all this hassle around restrictions. People want ultimate realism and restrict all kind of stuff. Graphical settings are rumored to be restricted to look blurry and annoying (might really be my outdated info, hadn't been so active here lately). This third person view conversation has the same concept, about restricting player's choices. Wouldn't it be simple to keep it like it is, admin decides if the 3rd person is active or not. Then players can join the servers they really enjoy. Doesn't have to be 100% same for everybody all the time. -

"I think the 'Study body' is still not functioning properly... ?????? Need More Info" I joined into a server with approximately 20 players. I quickly collided with someone after finding M16 from a firestation. I killed the player, and after I went to the body and selected 'Study body' it said the old thing. (Player _____ seems to have died from) [After the from, there's nothing]

I would actually like to see the inventory coloured/themed like it was in ArmA 2. The brown colour and the smooth lines, I like 'em. :) -
I would just remove the toilet paper from the loot tables. It's just annoying to find it everywhere in piles of 3 or something...

Wanted to join this thread's conversation. First off, people who want TRUE realism: Don't play DayZ! Zombies aren't real! It's just physically impossible as, for example, they would need muscles & blood flow to move around. And as heart stops when a guy dies, there won't be any. Zombie games can never be 100% real. But about the difficulty, I don't think this is too bad. Of course there are some things that might annoy, like the ability to pull players out of cars. I would of course keep door locked, window closed and seatbelt on to prevent that. I don't understand why everybody get into a fight after someone dares to tell his opinion on the matter. Everyone has the right for an opinion. Even if it wouldn't match yours. -

Actually the nights ARE realistic! As you have propably noticed, there are no road lights or anything on in zombie apocalypse. In modern cities the light pollution makes nights quite bright. If there are NO light pollution, nights can be REALLY dark.

Hey, these would be really great! They add so much more to the atmosphere. If these would get added to the mod alongside with the original tracks, this could be really nice addition.

Excuse me my tone, but are you guys serious? Zombies are fast, that is true, but zombies must stop for a sec when they try to bite, so if you are running while they attack, you wont get hurt. They are also slow at steep hills and inside buildings. You can easilly lose them and stay alive unharmed.

Actually I think VAC is the worst. It wont detect anything! There are plenty of servers in CSS that are FULL of aimbotters because VAC wont detect them. Only the servers with 3rd party anti-cheat have no cheaters. For example the DetoCS. Punkbuster is decent/good, atleast in some games. -

No, matches are not too rare IMO. I support limited amount of uses to box of matches IF there will be lighters with the unlimited amount of uses. The idea is good. -
No. I don't want my Cooked Meat to get rotten. And in real life, canned beans can stay really long good to eat :P
