So you care so little about disconnecting as a problem that you made a forum topic about it that brings attention to the problem of disconnectors? Any implement to stop server hopping and disconnecting is obviously going to be tested enough to prevent it from affecting legitimate players. If it isn't, there will be general uproar, I assure you.

People seem to be overlooking the fact that a set of SAPI plates in a plate carrier are VERY heavy. Roughly 30 pounds or so. Realistically speaking, anyone who is stuck moving on foot in a survival situation would never justify carrying that much weight which could instead be used for food, water, ammunition etc. Now, if you were late in the game, had vehicles and a support group to assist you, it becomes a possibility. The weight penalty would be negated somewhat. Soft body armour is a whole other story, but it should be limited to stopping pistol rounds only.

Make the L85 Thermal much more rare. Add in other L85 variants to "water" the loot tables down. I personally love the L85 with Eotech on it.

Respawned in Elektro. Ran directly to the building across from the little store to the north. Found an Alice pack, AK-74 and 6 full mags. Was definitely happy with that.

I have run into this as well. Seemed to happen to me when I logged into a building when I was located directly above deployed barbed wire. That might have something to do with it.

Your best bet is to just respawn. Its not worth the time to run out of the plains unless you have some high end, rare gear.
