@ UsernameZero The main reason we use Teamspeak is because nobody likes listening to all the crap happening around you. most of us set a push to talk key so that we dont annoy the crap out of everyone lol.

Hey there. 1. The ping shouldnt be too much of an Issue for you, You're always welcome to jump on the server and give it a test run. That way you can get a feel for everything and decided if the server is right for you. 2. Running your own server has no effect on you being a part of SG whatsoever. Owning/Renting your own server is your own choice, We will not dictate or limit that right :). And lastly, It is perfectly fine if you arent a "DayZ Pro" Just hop on our teamspeak whenever you get the Chance, The majority of the Group plays heavily on the weekends and we're always willing to take on New Recruits. You'll play with us for a while and get the feel of the family. If you put in a request and it gets accepted you'll be put on a Recruit/Trial status for a few days so that the Leadership can get to know you a bit better. And After that you should pick up the Rank of Private and be welcomed to SG with Open Arms :D. I also plan to use this location as a training point for our new recruits to learn the ins and outs of how we operate. I have effectively named this location Echo, just awaiting your confirmation on the Callsign Sir. Once the base is approved, I can ferry potential Troops to the Outpost and gear them up. Glad to see we've been getting alot of players on 174 joining up with us and asking to be a part of the Clan. The More the merrier. During the course of the Scavenging/regrouping mission all members were successfully equipped, medically treated and organized. We recovered a substantial amount of gear. The List is as follows Weaponry 1. AKM 2. M107 3. Dragonov SVD (Camo) 4. MP5SD 5. FN FAL 6. M9 Silenced Medical Supplies 1. Blood bags (On Ice) 2. Morphine Auto injectors 3. Bandages 4. This Is Lieutenant Khellus Reporting in. Squad versus Squad battles have been excellent in the training of our troops in my personal opinion. Alpha and Bravo have been doing a great job using all their collective skills to Engage eachother. During the Past Few hours, Bravo had taken a Routine patrol aboard Heli and was engaged by Light Machine Gun fire at [CLASSIFIED]. We had located multiple crash sites, and after damage was received to our Bird, we pulled out. Unfortunately a Bravo member was struck by the training rounds and had fallen from the Chopper. We had an operative alone in the area So I had para-jumped out to provide support and recover our Soldier. As I moved into the Area of operation I made contact at 600m, Enemy combatant armed with Light Machine gun. I engaged the target with my Sniper Rifle and Tagged him. Operative was recovered. I then made exfilitration back to base. Khellus out. ------------------OFFLINE ------------------------------------ Great little skirmish out there everyone. Alot of fun, I'll be active for 4 days this weekend seeing as i have all 4 of those days off ^.^ I recommend a Combined Operation with Both Alpha and Bravo. I know we've all been Itching for a Fight. I'm always up for a Sniping mission. Although there really isn't all that much to learn from me. I love playing as a sniper because I get the eagles eye view of a potential battlefield. I think most people don't get that snipers aren't suppose to be badass killers that can shoot anyone and everyone. Atleast in the Marines, we're called scout-snipers. Our main mission is to provide our ground team with as much information as we can possibly scrounge up to provide the the highest chance of survivability. Best tips I can give to any potential sniper recruits out there is....in order of my thought process during an op. 1. Identify 2. Prioritize 3. Report 4. Confirm 5. Request These 5 steps relate to a sniper and his commander. Step 1..... Identify all possibly enemies and assets. Mark all gear, supplies, routes and cover for your platoon. GIVE THEM THE INFO AND TOOLS THEY NEED! Step 2.... Prioritize the objects/targets for your team. Your team doesn't need you to start firing every chance you get. They need you to help them Eliminate the largest threat to your mission. Or, mark potentially the most valuable assets they can return to base. Step 3.... Reporting is one of the most important aspects of a sniper. You are the eyes and ears for your squad mates. You have the ability to observe and calculate information that your commander can't see from his position. Give him a short, concise report telling him the most important facts relevant to your mission/objective. Good rule of thumb for a report.. (Location, enemies, and estimation) Give him your location on the battlefield Enemy positions and/or equipment And the estimated threat to your team Step 4..... Confirm your next objectives with your team or commander. (Help your commander with this) You may need to reposition to better cover your team, or acquire a better field of view. Inform your commander of a position you may want to take and double check his priorities. Let him make the call and give you your next objective. Step 5... Should you find yourself in a ideal firing position or locate a key enemy objective. ALWAYS REQUEST PERMISSION TO TAKE THE SHOT! In the marines we don't tell our snipers to "fire" our spotters request firing permission and then tell shooters like myself to "send it". Meaning to send a round downrange. Instead of an order, we're given permission. Shots can only be made by you, the sniper. And only you know when the best time to eliminate a target is. Make every round count.."One shot, one kill". I hope my little brief helps some of you guys out. I've had alot of people asking me to teach them or give them tips. So... There you go. That's roughly my thought process. All you have to do for the Teamspeak, is when you start it up, at the Top left tab you'll see "Connections" Click that, Open it up and paste in the Address into "IP" And darn, I always miss the fun stuff v.v Oh well, I'm sure ill catch up on the Next Adventure

My best adventures have always been the 'Unseen Guardian' Ones. Just about every time I play I always Manage to find some person or group traveling and getting themselves into a tight spot Although... It is a bit stalkerish. I follow them throughout their travels and Snipe away zombies. They never see me, Never communicate with me. But it allows me to be a savior without risking myself. More often then not, you think about how you were running from zombies at one point and wish maybe someone came along and just mowed them down for you. Just something Different to Try. (Beware getting too close.... they tend to think you're aiming at them, and not the zombies. They usually figure it out once you start dropping all the Zed around them lol)
