This new line is bound to H, this needs to be unbound from the config in order for you to use your H key again. To find out the number to any key, just bind the key you want to be used, into a bind you know in game/controls. ie; Turbo. Then just open up your cfg again and see what number it was given. Just remember to use a bind that you will not use, that is not clashing into keyMoveItemFromHandsToInventory[]={} Edit: forgot to mention. Once you have finished and happy with all binds and settings in game. R-click your config and mark as Read Only. Worked perfectly, thanks very much. I'm forever in your debt!

Problem is I can't find profile.cfg, just dayz.cfg which doesn't contain the line you mention.

I don't realise what goes into any PC game, but I know most don't spend several years in alpha. I know DayZ is is very different to most other games out there. It is after all the only game i play atm but I think the general management of DayZ has been woeful from Day1. I'm no expert, but how difficult are key bindings exactly?

Thanks LoK Pain in the arse I have to say. How so much money can be thrown at such a popular game for such a long time and still remain in "Alpha" will forever remain a mystery to me.

I changed the key bindings from day 1 of SA. Now when I strafe left (H) I also shoulder my weapon (or if I'm holding an item, put it back in my backpack). The key assignment for H is in red but it's not assigned to anything else. When I click on strafe left binding the H has "missing string" after it. this has been since 0.57. Does anyone know of a fix or should I report it as a bug? Thanks.

DayZ is like driving a Ferrari that keeps breaking down down every 2 miles. If it's still around in 20 years time, it'll still be exactly the same. Here's hoping H1Z1 will be the light that shines through.

I was in a building armed with just an axe. Two guys burst in armed also with axes. "Friendly" I shout as they started swinging at me. They missed, and I managed to swerve past them and ran out of the building. "COME HERE YOU FUCKER" one of them shouts in a rather unpleasant Mexican type accent. I didn't. They were both chasing me down the road and catching up fast. I had to do something. I decided to try and lose them by running between houses, through sheds, alongside fences etc. I eventually got out onto another road and ran down that. I took a look behind and only one of them was still in pursuit. I managed to shake one. Then I thought fuck this and stopped and turned round. After a brief axe duel I managed to bring mine down on top of his head and split it to his thrapple. I stood over his body to wait for his mate. He didn't arrive. I looted his still warm body for a tin of tuna and a fresh apple and was on my way, leaving his friend to wander the wastes of Chernarus alone for all eternity, ruing the day they bumped into Burmabaines. "Come here you fucker!" Still ringing in my ears. I did. And now he's dead.

Ageing war veteran here. 45 from England. Eyesight failing a little and a touch of the shakes but other than that I'm good to go. I'll be on tomorrow from about 10pm.

Ok guys thanks. Still don't know why I couldn't with the snaploader and Blazer. They were both pristine.

Hello again. We'll after playing for a little bit more I now have a pristine mosin. I have lots of the correct ammo and can drag and drop from the inventory. I have r, y, and the middle mouse (none show in red)button and none of them reload, even if entirely empty of ammo. I have the gun in my hand or raised to fire and still nothing. Can't understand it.

This is frustrating the hell out of me. I have a Blaze 95 double rifle and a snaploader. My assigned reload button doesn't do anything. I've never seen the reload icon in the middle of my screen. Yesterday I could press the "use" button twice to reload but today I can't even get that to do anything. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Forgive my noobness. All I get on the server page is this new experimental version listed. How do I revert to the previous?
