Sputnik (DayZ)

So, me and few of my buddies were at out camp today on US 530, one of them was in a pickup behind a wheel when this asshole magically appeared next to him on a passenger seat... He comes out of the pickup to find out what is going on and the asshole takes off with our pickup and the stuff in it, he didn't go too far as we gunned the pickup to hell and it exploded. As i approached our burned vehicle, this same asshole spawns with a Harley Davidson motorcycle and starts driving around, as we unleash the hell upon him (w/o any effect) he disappears for several seconds and reappears again on that same HD motorcycle, as we keep filling the asshole with all types of ammunition (DMR, STANAG, M240) he just keeps riding around us like we're not even there and disappears again... Finally he spawns with a helicopter, as i emptied 2 stanags in the pilot wind glass with absolutely no effect, the asshole takes off and crashes! We decided to pack tents and move on to the other server, as i loot our bus i get teleported to Cherno with bunch of survivors and infected in my face! After joining another server (US 1224) and playing for few hours, we get teleported the same way we did on the previous server! I don't feel like playing this mod again until something is done about that BS!

Why not just buff infected in general, why nerf .45 to 9mm level and making it useless? At this point i 'm more interested in Makarov than M1911/Revolver, well done!

So i see new Arma 2 beta patches popping up every day, is that needed for DayZ, does it even fix DayZ, is it worth updating?

Yeah, but that not what i meant to ask... I wanna know if those beta patches make DayZ better?

When you make threads like that, make sure to at least post a server name...

The whole zombie/infected attack/damage thing is no go, i hate the way they teleport behind you and the way they still manage to bleed you while on their way down being shot dead!

Pretty much all my 1-0 keys are mapped to command thing which you don't use in DayZ, how can i unbind those commands from those keys, so i can use them for something else? Thanks you :)

Nope, the is no 1-0 keys in the Control Options in Arma! There are 1-0 NUM keys, but no 1-0 regular keys!
