Rolling back to 97361 fixed my problems.

I rolled back to patch 97361 and I haven't had any lockups so I'm thinking 97448 is bugged.

I've been having lockups on my server all day long. The screen just freezes and we have to use task manager to stop the application from running. Were using version 97448 with a private hive. Is this happening to anyone else. Having this same problem on a private Survival Server with a private hive. It's been happening on and off all day long. I'm using 97448, which version are you using ?

Were having this same issue on a private hive. I have it set for all vehicles to have no damaged parts and the cars and vehicles are spawning correctly but the UH1H is all in red. We haven't tried to repair it yet but we put fuel in it and the fuel gauge still showed up as empty. I'll post back if and when we can get some parts to try and fix it. I have no damaged parts checked and I have some damage checked and no gas when spawned.

I actually answered my own question a little bit better.

Ok I just found a major problem with Survival Servers. You guys need to look into this. I just checked and none of your servers show up on the Six Updater. They will show up in Arma 2 CO Browser only if you put it in as a filter. Otherwise the only place your servers are showing up are on the DayZ commander. Someone let me know if they can verify the same problem. I will make a ticket as I have been trying to see why my server does not show up in the public lists unless I specifically put in US 1108.

What you need to do is add your GUID to the admins.xml file in your server to do that you can type #beclient GUID into the chat and it will give you your 32 character GUID Another way to get the GUID is to download and use DART. How do I use the BEC Tools ? Do I need to set myself up as an Admin through the BEC config file ?

O Thank you . I'm also having an issue about the private/public server. I want a private server but I want it to show up in the server list so people can see it. I have my own private DayZ server at home but I can't handle serious traffic which is why I am using your services. The I.P reporting line once removed will allow the server to show up on the server lists. There are 100's of private servers that show up there and I want mine to as well. If thats not possible let me know. I want a server that shows up on the list with all the features that you guys have.

Ok got my server and I set it up how I like and now I'm getting waiting for host and my name is flashing in the upper right hand corner. After adding the BEC and AniHax the location ID is now saying Location ID in the server browser. It says not to edit below the line in the configuration editor so I'm not sure if I should change it to the US 1108 or not ? My server is also not showing up in the community server lists. My server is fubar.Can anyone help me out as the last 2 tickets I put in took 24 hours ?

Is Dart already set up or do we have to install it or should we put in a ticket for it ? I'm waiting on my server to be set up, just wondering.

Your only recourse is to get a private server and run it how you want. The only problem with that is your still going to be dealing with hackers and cheaters. I don't know about you but I don't have the time to constantly look over logs and worry about cheaters, it just ruins the fun for you. Don't expect to get any help from the mods on this site or the devs. All they do is try to make you feel bad because they have a game that is over run by hackers and cheaters. They deal with the problem by ignoring it and calling their community users names.

It's like the pot calling the kettle black if you ask me.When ever you make a post I laugh. I laugh even harder when people agree with you. : ) Back on Topic. The bubble has definitely burst. Servers are on the decline. We just let ours go on the 15th US 687. People are still playing but every day that goes by more and more people are realizing that the hackers are ruining the game and the devs won't let you do anything about it. We have considered running a private server, which a lot of people seem to be doing now, so you can admin it how you like. Even then you still have to deal with an over run of hackers and cheaters. At least with the private option you can ban people and fix your server as you see fit. DayZ has almost run it's course and with the way the devs have treated the community it's only a matter of time before the amount of people moving on to other games grows larger.

My server expires on the 15th (US 687) and our gaming group is done with DayZ. The game is over run with hackers and the Devs of DayZ are complete idiots. Even if they fix this game in the new standalone version I wouldn't support it. Sorry but Rocket is just an elitist jerk and nothing more. He doesn't deserve to be a game developer with the way he has handled the community, the people who actually pay to provide servers. All we have done is support this jerk and all he ever does is shit on us. Good bye and good riddance. I will not waste one dollar on this game ever again.

Lol at most of the responses. Yeah a guy who creates a mod for the community and then tries to act like Adolph Hitler with it. We all realize it's an Alpha but seriously why am I supporting an Alpha where as a server operator I have no control. If you don't run or operate a server then see yourself out of the discussion because you have no clue how hard it is to run a server over run with cheaters and hackers. All Rocket has to say is,,, that you can ban cheaters and hackers,,,but no.. all this guy lets you do is ban people who use racist comments,,Give me a break.

couldn't agree more. Rocket has no clue when it comes to handling the community. He creates a cool mod becasue the arma devs are more than happy to have their game modded. Now he wants to contorl everything. Not cool. I'm just waiting for the final release and then I will be ditching my paid for server for a private one.Anti Rocket has done more for the community than Rocket. Google it if you have no clue.

Search for Angry Adventrue and anti rocket on You Tube. They have DayZ server setups complete with your own database. I run one of these and it runs great. It runs way better than my public server because the database is on the same computer. The only thing is the updates lag behind when the official updates come out. Which is why I run 2 servers.

While that is a little ridiculous If they want low pings that's up to them. I have mine set to 200 and under and we place the tag so you can see it before you join. Does it say low pings only before you join the server ???

It's from the latest update. Most of us are experiencing it. Stay away from military areas and you should be fine.

HFB has all the files locked and you can only edit 3 of your files. So I'm looking for a company that let's you have access to all of the files. You can leave me a private message. It's not really a good experience operating and paying for a server where you don't have any control over the server. I'm running a private server but I would like to keep the public server going just not going to use HFB anymore.

Yeah. You hit the nail on the head. The problem is the DayZ guys are jerks. Instead of letting servers run how they want to and letting admins decide how they want things to go they are trying to force everyone to do what DayZ wants them to. The funny part is they are just forcing people to realize that private servers are better than public servers. There is no server hoping on a private server and the people who cheat get banned unlike what happens on a public server. Plus you don't have to worry about the babies crying about admin abuse. If you run a crappy server then no one is going to play on it which solves the problem all by itself. Without any nonsense from the DayZ devs.Also the hive is just a big waste. All the Hive does is de sync all the time and it allows you to server hop. It's funny with all these stupid rules I don't really understand why they allow server hopping because that is just a cheat all by itself.

I run my own servers and I would ban these guys in a second. If I see you on my servers you will get insta banned. Just for posting all this nonsense and acting like little kids
